I travel all across NOVA just for their salt and pepper shrimp. It’s perfectly fried with the skin on and tossed with jalapeños for a little kick. Served over broccoli and white rice.
This is one of my favorite places to get some quick Chinese takeout in the area not because it is amazing the food is pretty standard Chinese takeout, but the staff is friendly, the serving size is good and price is reasonable. We've been getting take out from here since the pandemic started. The take out is always great and the service is always friendly. The fried dumplings and Singapore fried rice are delicious. My son loves the kung Pao tofu.
Order Online and not happy. I ordered Shrimp Pad Thai. Luckily , I didn't have till next day ( previous day was Friday) I opened up my order , it was pork pad Thai. If you order to go from this restaurant, check it before you leave. Not sure if I will go back or not.
It’s unfortunate that I have to write this. But after several years of take out from this joint, I’m finding another. The quality of food has gone down. They messed up my order; no noodles in chow mein? When I look online chow mein actually has noodles. Wait doesn’t mein mean noodles? Because in Korean myun means noodles… it’s quite coincidental that myun and mein sound alike. Wait what’s noodle in Japanese? Ramen? Hmm… interesting. So many shared vocab… but I digress. Just know that people make mistakes. This wasn’t the first time from this place. But when you get burned too many times you gotta stop creeping towards the fire. Unfortunately we threw out the “chow mein” which was quite bland; also sans noodle. From 4 stars down to 2 stars. :*{ Edit: I did a little research, and it seems like chow mein in the east coast is a vegetable goop thing (not that tasty). So I’ll adjust the rating to 3 stars. I would NOT recommend the chow mein; stick with orange chicken and general tso.
Ordered from Uber. Food quality was grease that had a chew. Fried dumpling filing was under cooked. For spending over $100 we certainly will not be ordering from here again. Of what was edible it was the ketchup of American Chinese food. Spring rolls were mush, egg roll was chewy oil, "spicy" general tso's was less spicy than gochujang, some how the packets of mustard had no taste, fried rice was more boring and homemade white rice, and orange chicken was just disappointing. If you're used to those old buffets that only seem to exist in small towns in the south you'll enjoy this I'm sure, otherwise don't bother. I'll have to swing by taco bell later to get the taste out of my mouth.
