Hong Kong Express I really wanted his place to be good. I’ve lived in Saginaw for about 20 years of my life and we make some good Chinese food. I’ve had the best Chinese food. Bar none. Here we go. Another test. Can this place live up to the name? Let’s go. Small place. Express only. Few chairs. The woman at the front desk was very nice. Good service. Server with a smile. I ordered Pepper Steak and Szechuan chicken. The two basic dishes. Pepper steak tasted correct. Spot on. Szechuan was clearly off. Did not taste correct. The sauce was more like sweet and sour. Clearly the wrong sauce. I really had high hopes. Another disappointed. You might enjoy, but to me, I’m still looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant. Not here. I see a lot of customers. It’s sad they don’t know what good Chinese food is. Hit up “China 1” in hazel park, MI for excellent Real Chinese food. Also try "Dragon Palace" in Vassar, MI for great Real Chinese food. Enjoy. This is my go-to place for Chinese. My usual order includes Chicken Egg Foo Young combo meal, Sweet & Sour Chicken (quart), and Vegetable Fried Rice (quart). I get 5-6 meals out of it - so it's a great value! Consistently great quality and service!

We love this restaurant! We drive from White Lake, to get good quality Chinese food. Large quantities for the price! My only problem is, the ordering process. There is a woman there constantly repeats crunchy noodles over and over again and it's annoying! So much at aggravates me to not want to come here. I know when I order chow mein I'm going to get crunchy noodles!!! That's why I'm ordering it!!!!!! I wish a better English speaking person would answer the phones and take the orders! We spend anywhere from $20 to $140 at least once a month!

First time ordering and we will be back (which is always iffy for us with Chinese food). Ordered online and food was ready quickly. Spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken, and almond chicken - delicious, as well as the sauces for everything!! Crab rangoons are heavy with onion. Very, very good but not my all time favorite recipe. The fried rice was also ok, sort of bland. Overall, very good food!

My husband and I were pretty disappointed. The kung pao chicken was really bland and kinda tough. The egg rolls and the fried rice weren't anything to write home about, but they weren't bad. It was a decent amount of food for the price, but it still wasn't really worth it.
