Looking for a Restaurant we could sit inside to eat since we drove into town to visit family in the hospital. Did a random google search and after trying a couple other places that were only doing take out, we stumbled upon this restaurant. I have to say I’m glad we did. The people were nice and EVERYTHING was perfectly cooked and hot! I even looked back where they were cooking and it was very clean! The restaurant isn’t really fancy but it was also clean. Food tasted great too!

After many years of passing by this place, I decided to finally try it. I wish I had been coming here long ago!! The food is delicious and affordable. Portion sizes are perfect 👍. The menu is huge. However, it is mostly meat. There's only about 11 or so veggie options. More tofu dishes would be great. Either way, I'll definitely be coming back here! Pictures is the Broccoli and Bean Curd with Garlic Sauce. Comes with a side of white rice.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE!!! There was a simple bug in my food and I brought it back before bringing it back. Period. The lady was just telling me that I cannot pay an Apple Pay because customers asked for their money back. It causes her a lot more extra money to send money back to Apple Pay. Leaving the restaurant I only live a block away from the restaurant. I've been going to this place all the time and it has been great. However, there was a bug in my food. I went back to the restaurant to see if I could get my money back and figure out a way to get some new food. She started a fight. She tried to call the police on me. I just want my $8.45 back but that was too much for her.

I come here weekly & order ahead. Food is hot every single time and delicious. They do not add sugar and make their dishes sweet tasting, like every other Chinese restaurant does. I love this place! Took me years to finally find a Chinese restaurant that tastes delicious. Highly recommend 👌

I love this Restaurant! The Food is delicious, this is the best place to go in Grand Rapids, MI! I have been to many other places for Chinese and I have been disappointed several times! At Hong Kong Express the food is made to order and it’s always fresh! I am a new customer and it is so very good! The prices are amazing! You gotta stop by this restaurant and get the yummy egg rolls! Excellent food and service!
