As a Chinese Restaurant serving the North Myrtle Beach area, we aim to provide a variety of Chinese dishes to our local community and visitors. However, as a local Chinese restaurant, we strive to offer a comfortable setting for customers who choose to dine at our location. Our primary goal is to provide a range of Chinese culinary options to the North Myrtle Beach community.

The available customer reviews for Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant present a stark contrast in experiences. One customer reported a severely negative and alarming incident, stating that they found a "LITERAL TOOTH" in their food. This reviewer expressed extreme disgust and called for the restaurant to be shut down or to undergo a complete staff rehire. They described the incident as "unacceptable" and reported vomiting after the discovery, demanding compensation. This review raises significant concerns about food safety and hygiene practices at Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant.

In contrast, another customer had a more moderate experience, noting that while some items were not to their preference, others were acceptable. This reviewer found the garlic sauce to be sweet and the dumplings became soggy too quickly due to steam. However, they mentioned that other items, specifically the wings, chicken and broccoli, and beef on sticks, were "not bad." This suggests a potential inconsistency in the quality or preparation of different dishes on our menu.

The significant discrepancy between these two reviews highlights the unpredictable nature of recent customer experiences at Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant. The first review, detailing a serious and unhygienic finding in the food, should be a major concern for potential customers. While the second review indicates that some standard dishes may be satisfactory, the overall picture is marred by the alarming report of a foreign object in the food.

Currently, there is no information available regarding any specific promotional offers or discounts at Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant. For local users interested in potential specials or deals, we recommend contacting the restaurant directly at (843) 249-7388 or +1 843-249-7388. Our staff will be able to provide the most current information on any promotions that may be running. However, given the severity of the negative feedback received, potential customers may prioritize addressing the food safety concerns before inquiring about promotions.

In conclusion, Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant in North Myrtle Beach, SC, offers both dine-in and takeout services. However, the limited customer feedback available presents a concerning picture. One customer reported a highly disturbing incident of finding a tooth in their food, raising serious questions about food safety and hygiene. Another customer found some dishes to be acceptable while noting issues with the garlic sauce and dumplings. Given the severity of the first review, potential customers should be aware of this significant concern when considering dining at or ordering from Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant, located at 775 Main St, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582, USA. We can be reached at (843) 249-7388.

For those in the North Myrtle Beach area seeking a Chinese restaurant, the available reviews for Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant suggest exercising extreme caution. The reported incident of finding a foreign object in the food is a critical issue that outweighs any potential positives mentioned in the other review. Local residents and visitors may want to thoroughly consider this feedback and perhaps explore other Chinese dining options in the area with more consistent and positive reports regarding food safety and quality.

If I could put zero stars I would. There was a LITERAL TOOTH IN MY FOOD!!!! that is beyond disgusting and I hope you guys get shut down or at least fully rehire your staff. This is unacceptable and I want some kind of compensation. I threw up when I found this. Unbelievable.

Garlic sauce was sweet and dumplings got soggy too fast from the steam. Everything else not bad. (Wings, chicken and broccoli, beef on sticks.)

Never again! Ordered ‘mild spicy’ Szechuan which much to my surprise after picking up is really “NO spice” and then I called to discuss and they chose to tell me I was wrong and that “mild spicy ” means “NO spice” and I should order different next time. It was bland mush with no flavor, regardless of spice level. Stay away. I gave them a chance to correct it. All they had to do was try to make it right or at least be apologetic since I told them I threw the entree in the garbage. Pathetic.

Food is great! The wonton soup is delicious and tender meat. The spare ribs are unique and savory. The pepper steak was cooked perfectly with nice cuts of beef. The egg rolls are on point. Big portions!

I always carry out Very good Hot Friendly Inside clean but virtually no one eats inside 1/28/25 - Got Szechwan chicken. Had like 3 pieces of meat and mainly onions. Sad about it.
