Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant

I was a little taken back after reading the reviews. I ordered via door dash and the food was pretty decent. Grab Rangoon was good, general tsaos had a nice crunch and the sauce was good. I did notice however sometimes it did taste burnt. I noticed another post about the burnt taste it was horrible but threw it off a bit. Thinking they let the sauce sit and bubble too long and it got burnt to the pan. Overall my meal was pretty good for delivery Chinese in the area.

Had the spare tips and pork fried rice. I thought it was delicious, the portions were good, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the the egg roll was super oily but hay it's greasy Chinese food rite. Sweet tea with lemon was pretty good too and customer service was decent too.

This use to be my go to spot till recently my fiance went to go pick up our food and there were several pieces of hair in the half a chicken. We were thinking it was intentional because the week prior we ordered from them and they gave us back wrong change. When we went back the owner was upset and accused my fiance of being a liar. It was only a $5 difference. We order from here all the time so for them to act like that is beyond me. Beware if you order from here! Try another place.

I have had such an off experience with this place. I called to place an order and for some reason it sounds like a scamming center in the background and then when she puts you on hold, it’s playing a bunch of weird noises and you can hear a bunch of people talking. They all sound Indian. I was definitely skeptical in putting my card information. I’m not sure if anybody else has gone through this, but I just thought it was weird.

Take out was small portions, despite me ordering large, and shortly after eating it, my boyfriend experienced food poisoning!!! Greasy beef and broccoli, greasy chicken and broccoli, dry rice, and my stomach ached afterwards. I wish that my usual spot, Highland Garden was open, else I would have ordered from there. Won't be ordering from this place again!!!
