Hong Kong Chinese Restaraunt

My experience here was somewhat mixed. While some of the food I tried was mediocre (and I would specifically advise against the Mongolian beef), the lo mein noodles were enjoyable and had a good flavor. The service at the counter was efficient and professional, though not particularly warm. On the positive side, the food arrived very quickly. Perhaps I just didn't order the right items, but the Mongolian beef was certainly a miss.

I have been coming to this place now for the last 3 months and it has almost become a Friday night routine for me for many reasons. 1. The food is always good and the portions are worth the price. I’ve had multiple dishes, multiple times and of all the Chinese take out places in GA my family and I have been to, this is the only one that pleases the crowd across the board. 2. Very clean and wait time is always short. 3. Service is excellent. Justin, who they have attending to customers at the front is ALWAYS smiling and is always professional and pleasant. In a time where customer service seems to be lacking in many places, he definitely stands out as exceptional. Huge part of the reason I keep coming back.

If you’re craving top-notch Chinese food in Metro Atlanta, look no further than Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant on Hwy 5 in Douglasville! This place is hands-down the best Chinese spot I’ve found since moving to Atlanta, offering unbeatable flavor and generous portions at very reasonable prices. I ordered the Triple Delight with Mixed Vegetables and swapped in Shrimp Fried Rice—absolutely divine. Even my picky grandkids couldn’t get enough! They enjoyed wings, vegetable fried rice, and shrimp/chicken with mixed vegetables and shrimp fried rice, devouring every bite. We upgraded our pork egg rolls to shrimp egg rolls, and let me tell you, they are the best I’ve ever had. We loved them so much that we took five more to go! But the real gem here is Wendy—she made the entire experience memorable with her friendly A-1 customer service and spot-on recommendations. Wendy is pictured below along with my Triple Delight with Mixed vegetables after I’d already had a serving. I’ve been searching for a place like this, and now that I’ve found it, I’ll be a regular for sure. Do yourself a favor: head over to Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant, ask for Wendy, and tell her Alma sent you. You won’t regret it!

Horribly disappointed. I got take out a couple months ago and it was great: fresh, hot, tender pieces of chicken and large portions. I got the same order today (sesame chicken with egg fried rice and egg roll) and it was AWFUL! The pieces of chicken were tough and tiny and both the chicken and rice were dried out and barely warm as if they'd been sitting out for a while. The broccoli was raw and just a couple pieces. The egg roll was tough and cold. While the service is friendly, the food today was not even edible which sucks because I was celebrating my birthday. I would've given 5 stars previously however after today's experience I would not recommend and probably won't be back unless they offer to make it right somehow.

Simple Chinese take out spot. Food was hot, delicious and better than expected. I had vegetable soup and a shrimp egg roll. The lady that worked the front counter was so kind and made sure everything was perfect. Will be back!
