Hong Kong Chinese Kitchen

Happened to come across this place by surprise and at the last minute. Was looking for something light - a la a moo shu pork. I wasn't sure what to expect - but have to say it was really, really good. It is the first time I remember eating the whole portion. It was a great balance of vegetables, protein and seasoning. The only down side, using egg roll skin as the pancake is a bit of a cop out. A true Mandarin pancake would have earned it 5 stars.

Lived in the area for 26 years and i’ve always had a great meal, I’ve eaten just about everything on their menu and it is superb no matter what you order no matter what time it is and the staff are very friendly, kind and respectful.

Honestly some of the better Chinese food around - really pleased with the amount of veggies I get with the combination plates. Most places give you a “decorative” amount of broccoli, but at HKCK you get an impressive variety of vegetables. I called and my order was ready in 10 minutes. Quicker than I was. Piping hot by the time I got home. It’s almost like it’s faster and cheaper when you *don’t* order through DoorDash!

Love their chicken wings with pork fried rice. House chow mai fun has lots of fresh ingredients. Pepper steak has plenty of beef, peppers, and onions. Sesame chicken is not overly battered like some other places. Eggrolls and BBQ ribs are good too.
