Based on recent customer reviews, Hong Kong Chef has established a reputation for its exceptional dishes, with several standouts receiving high praise. One recurring favorite among patrons is the "House special pan fried noodles." This dish is lauded for its remarkably large portion size, which one reviewer suggested could easily feed four people. The noodles are generously topped with a variety of fresh vegetables, squid, and shrimp, all coated in a slightly thick sauce that beautifully integrates with the fried noodles, creating a delightful textural contrast between crispy and soft strands. For one reviewer, this dish holds nostalgic value, making it a consistently ordered item.

Another highly recommended dish is the "honey walnut shrimp." This classic Cantonese offering appears to be a crowd-pleaser, consistently enjoyed at family dinners. Customers have noted the excellent quality of the shrimp, which possesses a satisfying "bite" and a "bouncy texture," indicating perfect cooking. The combination of the crispy shrimp and the sweet, creamy honey walnut sauce makes this a must-try for many.

A comprehensive order from one satisfied customer provides further insight into the variety and quality of Hong Kong Chef's menu. Their order included: Honey Walnut Shrimps ($20.95), Beef cubes and scallop with teriyaki sauce ($25.95), Pickled dried vegetables/Braised pork belly with sweet potato leaves ($24.95), House special pan fried noodles ($20.95), Salt and pepper pork chops ($19.95), and Marinated tofu ($9.95). My personal favorite dish is their House special pan fried noodles. The portion of this was insane, this itself can feed 4 people. Love the vegetables, squid, shrimp,…. on top of the noodles. The toppings are cooked with this slightly thick sauce which drenches the fried noodle making it some parts of it crunchy and some of it soft/soggy. I grew up eating this dish and so I’m almost always ordering this dish. My second favorite dish is their honey walnut shrimp. This is always a hit at every family dinner I have and so I just had to order it. Their shrimp had a bite to it and a bouncy texture. It was cooked perfectly. Everything we ordered: - $20.95 Honey Walnut Shrimps - $25.95 Beef cubes and scallop with teriyaki sauce - $24.95 Pickled dried vegetables/Braised pork belly with sweet potato leaves - $20.95 House special pan fried noodles - $19.95 Salt and pepper pork chops - $9.95 Marinated tofu

I ordered the beef chow fun and fried calamari. The flavor was great, but I almost cracked my tooth twice because there were random pieces of uncooked rice in my noodles. I'm not sure if I'll be back.
