Hong Kong Cafe Restaurant

We usually order takeout from HKC. Ended up going in for dinner one night and had a great time. We ordered hot tea, vegetarian egg rolls and crab cheese wontons, came out hot and fast. Dinner was chicken with mixed vegetables, beef and broccoli (I always order extra beef) and a shrimp panang curry. The service was fantastic and we had a really nice night. As always, Thank you for a delicious meal HKC!

Still such a great spot for authentic Chinese food. The staff was really kind and even let us park our bikes in the corner while we ate. We stopped by during our bike ride along the trail to Cherry Creek Reservoir. The meal was just as good as ever; the mapo tofu is amazing with the perfect amount of spice. The beef noodle soup is also fantastic. The appetizer, tsong you ping, is superb. Definitely don’t miss out on this awesome spot in the Dartmouth strip mall.

I order here every once in a while. The food is pretty good, veggies taste decent and I enjoy the crunch of the broccoli and carrot. It's a small space, but not bad for dining in. Prices are fair. I came in today for a pickup placed a few hours ahead of pickup. Asked for veggies to be cooked longer for one of the dishes, as my boyfriend just had dental work done. I noted this instuction in the dish special instruction space, as well as on the reciept before the website asked for payment. However, these instructions were not followed. We would have been willing to wait longer to ensure cooking instruction was respected. We wound up waiting a few minutes for our food regardless, as the lady that waits the tables, handles the front, and packages the food was having a busy moment. I appreciate the hustle despite the failed part, which is why I typically tip ahead of pickup. I wasn't able to see the instruction I listed on the receipt stapled to the paper bag, but if by chance the website is not forwarding this information- despite multiple spots under the items chosen for the order, (not counting the open space it gives to leave info before requesting payment) it would be helpful if this was considered important. Will be back regardless, however I had to cook this on the stove to get it to an acceptable texture for someone that had work done on their teeth earlier in the day... Wanted to not cook dinner for a change! Order #181364525. Food was fresh and delicious, and we continue to appreciate you.

The lady is so nice and attentive. Food is delicious, one of the best Chinese food I have tried BUT PRICES ARE MISLEADING. 💵💰‼️‼️ beware. Lady said she did the menu book 3 years ago BUT HASN’T CHANGED THE PRICES ON IT. So the prices on the book is not it. She put on the menu, Prices updated. One would think those are the new prices on the menu. So you have to ask for every item on the menu. The walnut shrimp is so delicious 🤤

This place absolutely crushed it. This was an unexpectedly excellent restaurant. Don't let the location fool you. The owners were extremely nice and the food was fresh and flavorful. This isn't your standard take out place. I highly recommend eating here.
