About Hong Kong Café

Hong Kong Café is a Chinese Restaurant situated inside The Palazzo at 3325 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA. They can be contacted at (702) 607-2220 or +1 702-607-2220.

Customer reviews for Hong Kong Café offer contrasting opinions. One reviewer who was seeking "good and authentic Chinese food" found the Won Ton Mien to be a standout dish, describing it as one of their favorites in town with flavorful and stuffed wontons and perfectly cooked noodles. They recommended taking the time to visit this café for Chinese food, suggesting it was superior to another noodle spot in a sister property.

However, another reviewer experienced a "total disappointed dining experience." They noted large crowds and prices significantly higher than those at other Chinese eateries in Las Vegas' Chinatown. While they found the ambience to be "very nice" with a spacious dining room, they deemed the food to be "mediocre at the most." Specific criticisms included siu loong bao with thick skin and bland filling, shrimp tempura comparable to a frozen grocery store product, and lukewarm beef congee with a raw egg that failed to cook, resulting in a flavorless and runny dish. This reviewer concluded that the restaurant likely caters to tourists and advised those seeking authentic Chinese food to travel to Chinatown instead.

In summary, Hong Kong Café offers a pleasant ambience within The Palazzo, but customer experiences with the food quality and pricing vary significantly. While some dishes like the Won Ton Mien have been praised, others, such as the dim sum and congee, have received criticism. Potential diners may want to weigh these differing opinions when considering a visit.

We were in the hunt for some good and authentic Chinese food. This restaurant is in the Palazzo and we decided to give it a try. My typical go to item most of the time is the Won Ton Mien. Let me just say this is probably one of my favorites around town. The won ton is stuffed and is very flavorful. The noodles were cooked to perfection. All the check boxes were marked off here. I can say this is much better than the other noodle spot in their sister property. Take the extra time to come here if you are looking for Chinese food. If you love

Big crowds at this hotel restaurant and wanted to see the hype. Prices are well above what you can get at other Chinese eateries in LV chinatown. Ambience is very nice with good spacious dining room. Food was mediocre at the most! We ordered the siu loong bao dumpling and the skin was thick with not much flavor in the filling. The shrimp tempura was the same as you can get from the Costco freezer section. My congee with beef came lukewarm with a raw egg on top which should have easily cooked. The base of the congee was flavorless and the raw egg made it a runny mess to eat. Just a total disappointed dining experience at this promise looking restaurant. I guess all their patrons are visiting tourists who won't be back anytime soon. Heed this advice and if you want authentic Chinese food, make the trip to LV chinatown.

My wife and I ate here for the first time, this September, after staying at The Venetian/Palazzo many times over the years. We thought the two dishes we shared were excellent and it's surprising how poor the ratings are. I really hope people are being fair to them since we found there to be no issues. They were friendly, the servers came by often, and the prices were good. We ate pork fried rice and sweet & sour chicken which is shown by the photos.

We ordered kung pao chicken, roasted duck and beef with fried rice. All of the dishes were cold, not fresh and really plain. Staff isn’t attentive and just threw our food on the table. Silverware was dirty. Atmosphere is ok. Would not recommend.

This place deserves higher rating! Authentic Cantonese food. Everything we ordered was prepared to high standards. I think the lower rating is because of customers who are unfamiliar with the food.
