Hong Kong Buffet

I should have read the reviews first. Thought I'd stop in to have lunch. Place was dark and gloomy. The dessert bar seems to be the highlight of the buffet as that's the first you see when you enter. Not alot of selections. Too much fried food not enough entree selections. Food was not as tasty as I had hoped. Called ahead for pricing was told 17.00 for buffet they charged 18.95! Read all the reviews!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I would not recommend coming here my reason is I went here a week ago and I got 2 plates and my girlfriend got 2 plates and drinks. It was $40 dollars and that’s okay.And I go today and we got one plate each and a drink it was $40 something but last time they charged us for two plates it’s unreasonable and how they include the tip when all they do is just stand there really. And the food was undercooked. Also you can go to Texas road house with better quality food and it will be cheaper.

Food was cold and then.. found metal in the pudding 🤮

I'm only giving this restaurant 2 stars just because the food is good here. Otherwise I'd only give 1. Lately the service has actually been getting worse. It used to be so great, so what happened? The servers will pretty much hover over you while you're eating, they don't refill your drink all the way to the top, and they'll rush you out by bringing the bill to you while you're still eating! You won't even be halfway done your meal, and they'll just bring you the bill even though you haven't asked for it yet. And what makes things worse, I didn't have enough money on me to pay the bill in full because I accidentally left my debit card at home without realizing it was there, and so I had to go to my car to see if I could find the .85 I needed to pay the bill, and do you know what my server did? I don't know if she chose to do this on her own, or if her boss told her to do it, but she came to my car and started demanding I hand over the cash I had on me! Are you serious? Hopefully she chose to do that on her own and wasn't told to do so by who I assume is the owner. Because if the owner told her to do it despite knowing how likely it would have been she would have gotten her own employee hurt or even killed for that matter, she's basically saying to her, "Look, I don't care if you end up getting hurt. Just go get me my money, ok?" And if she is, that's not very good business practice if you ask me. Was she trying to suggest I was trying to dine and dash? I'm not that kind of person! I wouldn't even dream of doing anything like that!

been coming here since I was a baby in a car seat, I can thank my aunt for introducing me to this place. Food is amazing and place is usually always quiet and calming. Servers have always been very nice.
