About Hong Kong Buffet
Hong Kong Buffet, located at 10100 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114, USA, offers a Chinese buffet experience. They can be contacted at (505) 898-6868 or +1 505-898-6868.
Hong Kong Buffet is described as a "fun place" with a lively atmosphere, often filled with families and patrons enjoying the all-you-can-eat format. The restaurant features "terrific decorations" and is noted for its cleanliness. The service from the servers is generally quick and attentive, ensuring drinks are refilled and tables are cleared promptly.
However, opinions on the food quality are mixed. Some reviewers find it "hard to find something that is good," with one customer stating they discarded at least half of the items from their multiple plates. In contrast, another customer who had not visited since before Covid found the buffet to be consistent with their past positive experiences, enjoying everything they selected. This suggests that individual taste preferences play a significant role in the perception of the food quality, which is a common characteristic of buffet-style dining.
A standout item mentioned is the ice cream, which is described as "terrific" despite being sourced externally. Hong Kong Buffet is suggested as a suitable option for those seeking an inexpensive meal that can fill up both adults and children. The decor and ambiance are generally well-received. However, one reviewer noted a lack of friendliness from the staff member at the payment area upon entry.
In summary, Hong Kong Buffet offers an affordable, family-friendly dining experience with a wide variety of Chinese dishes in a well-decorated and clean environment. While the food quality may be subjective, the attentive table service and enjoyable atmosphere are consistent positives.

This is a fun place in general, full of families and other patrons filling their plates again and again. It has some terrific decorations, everything looks clean, and the servers are quick to respond and take care of you. The main problem is the food. It's hard to find something that is good. I had three different plates of items and threw out at least half of them. Their ice cream, which is produced elsewhere, is terrific. If you want something that is inexpensive and will fill you and the kids up, this is the place to go. But if you want quality Chinese food, this is not it
I don't understand what all of the bad reviews are about. We haven't been to Hong Kong Buffet since before covid. We went today, and it is the same as it always has been. We enjoyed everything that we got. Of course, there are some food items that aren't as good as others. It depends on everybody's taste buds. This is something that happens at all buffets. Everything we had on our plate we enjoyed. The lady that kept our drinks filled and our table cleared was just as friendly and sweet, as she could be. We always enjoy the atmosphere while we're eating. We love the decor and the ambiance. There needs to be more friendliness at the area where you walk in and pay. The way the fellow that took our money acted was very cold and unwelcoming.
For the price ( 2 people was around $35 with two waters) it was decent. Nothing out of the ordinary to bring up my rating. Another factor to my 3 star review was that the sushi was not at all up to even the basic standards. It had a very stale taste. Even though I saw them make it and put it out right away. Perhaps not properly stored? Anyway, far price as it does come with the Mongolian grill as part of your ticket. It's a nice cheap and quick date night after a long day.
Crowded, but what can you do you know? It's an affordable all you can eat buffet option that serves decent food. The employees at the front were respectful and kind. The waitresses who attended my party were in a hurry and not very respectful to us. I feel we got what we paid for, I would come back because it's easy and you will leave full. Good food variety and save for the restroom the establishment appears clean and well kept. Again, the biggest gripe is probably the urgency of the workers. Believe me, I understand tempo with regards to service, but this also isn't fast food, it's a buffet.
i’m not even gonna lie i was fw with it until i found moldy onions in my noodles. and no it’s not grilled.. do the research yourself they are MOLDY onions.
