Hong Food Malvern Town Center

Hong Food has been one of the best finds ever! I tried their food for the first time a few weeks ago and kept going back. By now I've tried most of the items and I gotta say, they're all consistently good! The lady running the store is also super sweet and never skimps on the portions! Considering the abysmal prices of food in 2024, Hong Food is very much reasonable and a wayyy better bang for your buck compared to the average fast food place. If you're going by the Malvern mall and wanna eat, my go to would be the medium combo with the spicy rice, hakka beef, manchurian chicken and fried chicken. Grab a medium soda from the circle K on the other side and you get a banger meal for about 10 dollars including taxes!

I love this place! The portions can suck depending on time of day; been going here for 15 years and still haven’t cracked the code. But the food is incredible; best budget friendly Chinese food in the city.

What a hidden gem inside malvern. Even with a big Chinese food chain outside , this lady has been slinging the best authentic Hong Kong style Chinese food for the last 16 years. Y'all should come show her some love , a smile and a thank you.

I have been going to Hong Food for over two decades. I still remember the student discount we used to get. Rice or noodle plus 2 meat items for 2.59. I still drop by here when I am in the area. Their quality is always consistent. My favorite is the medium box rice or noodle plus 3 items currently priced at $7.25 plus taxes. Overall Hong Food is one of the better food court Hakka food I have had.

I live in Hamilton now but I used to live at the Mclevin condos from 2015 to 2018 and this was my go to spot, at that time the large with 5 meats was like 6 bucks a bargain. To this day I miss it. I want to go back.
