Honey Basil Express

I was craving Chinese, and this place popped up on my Instagram by accident as a new restaurant in the area, and we decided to give it a try. When we arrived, I was very disappointed to see most of the warming trays almost empty, but they said they don't like to waste any food and will cook our order fresh. What an amazing and refreshing concept ( not wasting food) The prices are very good for the portions. The service was amazing. The place was very clean and our food was ready in less than 10 minutes. What else can we ask for? A lovely,sweet lady named Cindy helped us with our order, and since it was our first time, she kindly offered us a few samples to pick what we like. We ordered 2 dishes to go with 3 entrees and they were all delicious and tasted very fresh. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. These 2 orders fed 3 adults, and we still have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow to enjoy. My favorites were beef and broccoli and Jalapeno chicken. We will definitely go back soon to try more dishes.

SUUUUUPERB, INEXPENSIVE, DELICIOUS, FRESH...AMAZING! We fed three hungry adults for under $30, and still had leftovers! 😁🤤🤤🤤 Finally; we no longer have to travel to the other side of town for something like this; it's in our own backyard! 🥳 The food was incredibly fresh and delicious! A huge improvement over the others, where they serve the one batch they made, often from the days before, all browned and chewy, all day! These guys make it in smaller portions, fresh, and regularly throughout the day. Which takes more effort on their part, but on top of all other benefits, it produces less waste, and tastes so much better! We asked for freshest, and without any hesitation, they offered, and prepared ours, on the spot, and FRESH! Also, the service was like a fancy 5-star restaurant! Such kind, sweet, polite and extremely helpful staff! They made us feel very welcome, and made everything extra special! It's the little things that make the biggest difference, and they did all! Great food with great prices and flavor. Stayed at a nearby hotel and this was the perfect go to. If you're looking for a high protein meal at a low cost this is the spot. Very friendly staff that always greets with a smile. Food is fresh and hot. Highly recommend!!

OMG. I'm seriously in shock at how good the food is, and how affordable it is. I've been in a slump with restaurant food and I was not expecting to be blown away. I got the Mapo Tofu, Sesame Chicken, Kung Pao chicken, with a side of green beans, sesame balls, crab cheese wontons, and hot and sour soup for under $30. Set up like a Panda Express, but with actually great dishes, fresh ingredients, generous portions and good service. This is going to be my go to Chinese restaurant for now on. Definitely give them a try. I want this hidden gem to be successful!

A Hidden Gem for Fresh, Flavorful, and Generous Portions! I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this wasn’t your typical “express” restaurant. Even though it’s called express, every dish is made fresh to order, and you can taste the difference. Yes, it might take a little longer, but the wait is worth it. The food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and the portions are much larger than what you’d find at Panda Express. I came here with my family, and it was perfect for all of us, especially my son, who devoured the fried rice and shrimp with walnuts. The broccoli was a healthy touch—light, crisp, and not drenched in oil. For me, the standout dishes were the Szechuan chicken and shrimp—so flavorful with just the right amount of spice! The dining environment is spotless and cozy, which makes it perfect for both quick lunches and relaxed family dinners. And I was blown away by the value—quality, quantity, and price all exceeded my expectations. I’m 100% coming back again, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh, tasty, and generously portioned meals. You won’t be disappointed!
