When we arrived at the restaurant, there was an unpleasant smell, which made us hesitant to dine in. We started with pani puri, but it was very disappointing—the water and the aloo lacked flavor. Next, we ordered pav bhaji, which was good, followed by chole bhatura, which was also enjoyable. However, the masala dosa was a letdown—the aloo filling was bad, and both the chutney and sambhar were disappointing. Lastly, we ordered Manchurian, but it mostly consisted of capsicum, which was quite disappointing. Overall, while some dishes were good, others were below expectations, and the initial atmosphere didn’t make for a pleasant dining experience.

This is my second review and it’s genuine. Owner has managed to remove the review so I had to post it again. And now I am going to take next step as I think owner doesn’t care about what he/she has done by removing this review and not responding back as well. I visited this place on 9th November 2024 and never imagined this place could be unhygienic. I always loved having food from here not only that I have ordered catering few days ago but was not aware of unhygienic food. Firstly I wanted to share experience of staff they never give attention to the people seating waiting for someone to come even if they are not busy very poor service we still like to go there because of the taste of food I ignored service. But this time it was something else and I couldn’t stop myself to give review about food that I ordered and found out insect from Pulav. When I told about it and showed to one of the staff member she said should I bring something else instead 😀I mean just to hide their mistake they are trying compassionate me with food. I could go beyond review but I understand the consequences of it. Kitchen staff should know the seriousness of it and owner please keep eye on your staff. You are loosing genuine customers by not taking action.

Having marked this for a while now and finally made it. Had great expectations that a vegetarian restaurant would have many more vegan options. To make it odd, the staff not aware what vegan meant. The menu underneath pizza said vegan options, but they couldn’t understand that vegan should not include cheese or butter. Not properly trained staff. Dahi Poori was vegan , we were told. They wouldn’t even make Dahi (yogurt) Poori with yogurt on the side. We had a Dabeli w/o Butter to make it vegan. It was good, but the spices were way less than we anticipated. The chutney provided was also very mild. Mumbai Meei Jaan platter with Vada Pav made vegan was good. The topped chilli could have been the spicier version. The vegan Bhel was OK, again too mild. The vegan Pani Poori OK again, but the water was way too mild as if made for non-Asians more than for Indian origin customers. Vegan Schezwan Dosa - we assumed it would be street style, made with veggies and noodles in Schezwan sauce. It turned out to be masala dosa with schezwan sauce inside the dosa with regular potato onion filling. The chutney and sambhar again very mild flavours. Family did have Pav Bhaji which couldn’t be made vegan. They did enjoy it but again found to be mild as well. Hard to believe that a Gujarat based restaurant had such mild flavours.

I recently visited Honest and had a great experience. The service provided by Fenil was excellent—friendly and attentive. I ordered sandwiches, and they were absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. Overall, a great place to dine, and I’d definitely recommend it!

We tried 3 dishes, dosa was below average, noodle were good flavor and the vegetable sandwich was good with a home made feel. But the portions are small according to the price they are charging. I would expect bigger portion if we are paying $13 for a dish not a small bowl of noodles.
