Honada Sushi & Hibachi

Update: 12-28-24 Again, I enjoyed my dinner totally. This time I had the Empire Sushi Roll and the Hibachi Grill. I picked the Filet & Shrimp Combo, which came with soup and salad.

I went with a few friends, we all loved the experience. The inside is gorgeous and the workers are patient and friendly. Our waitress was lovely and sweet, so i ended up tipping 12% on the little machine.

I grew up in both China( Shanghai, Tsingdao) and Japan (Hokkaido and Tokyo). I love these people. They have always made our family feel special. They respect the cuisine and do it well. We have been eating at Honda since my daughter was six and today...she turned 24 ( 10-31-2000). We are not from Asia we are not from anywhere ... My experience at HONADA was pretty good. Service was decent, food was great, their were customers that detracted from my experience. When you arrive they have a large japanese menu, staff is friendly and present but mostly waiting which could be good or bad depending on your need. I will definitely stop in again when I pass through.

Located in a strip mall, Honada doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that stop you from going in. Our party of 7 visited on a Saturday night, and there were people waiting inside the door to get in. Although we were hoping for hibachi, they were simply to busy to accommodate this request, so we grabbed a larger table nearby. Altogether we ordered the crab rangoon, shrimp tempura, 3 sushi rolls, yaki udon soup and 2 hibachi plates. Everything was served quickly and very good. The Volcano and Double Spicy Rolls I ordered were fantastic. If you like a little spice with your sushi, I absolutely recrecommend the Double Spicy! Both rolls were a generous size, and the 2 together were fresh, flavorful and filling! My husband, big on Udon soup, loved his choice. The bowl was huge and packed with fresh ingredients and hot delicious broth. If you're in the mood for Japanese, Honada is a great choice.
