About Ho Ho Chinese Restaurant

For our Singaporean users interested in exploring Chinese cuisine, we've examined recent feedback for Ho Ho Chinese Restaurant, located in Denver, Colorado, USA. The reviews present a mixed picture, with some customers praising its value and taste, while others raise significant concerns about food quality.

One reviewer expressed surprise at the "low reviews" for Ho Ho Chinese Restaurant, describing it as "so delicious and inexpensive." They highlighted the affordability of the combo meals, priced at $7 for two entrees, rice or noodles, and a fried wonton or egg roll. The reviewer also noted the "very large" portions and specifically praised the crispy and not overly sweet sesame chicken. Based on this experience, they indicated an intention to become a regular customer.

However, a contrasting and serious concern was raised by another reviewer who claimed that "everything here is bread disguised as meat menu items." This individual strongly advised others to "avoid due to integrity and potential safety issues." They included an image of an item supposedly to be chicken as evidence of their claim. This review raises significant red flags regarding the quality and authenticity of the food being served.

Given these starkly different opinions, it is difficult to form a definitive overall assessment of Ho Ho Chinese Restaurant based solely on these two reviews. The positive review emphasizes affordability, generous portions, and appealing taste for some dishes. In contrast, the negative review raises serious allegations about the fundamental nature of the ingredients used.

For Singaporean users considering this restaurant concept (though it is located overseas), these contrasting viewpoints highlight the importance of considering a range of feedback when evaluating a dining establishment. While the value and taste described in the positive review might be appealing, the serious concerns raised in the negative review regarding food integrity and safety cannot be ignored.

As Ho Ho Chinese Restaurant is located in the USA, Singaporean diners would not be able to directly experience it. However, this summary of recent reviews serves as an illustration of the varied experiences that can occur at a restaurant and the importance of seeking a broad range of opinions when making dining choices, whether locally or abroad.

Key points from the reviews include:

  • One reviewer found the food "delicious and inexpensive" with large portions and praised the sesame chicken.
  • Another reviewer claimed the food was "bread disguised as meat" and raised potential integrity and safety issues.
  • The reviews present a significant conflict in terms of food quality and ingredients.

Singaporean users are advised to research local Chinese restaurants thoroughly and consider multiple reviews to gain a balanced understanding of their offerings before making a dining decision.

I'm so surprised by the low reviews of this restaurant because it is so delicious and inexpensive! For $7, you can get a combo with two entrees, rice or noodles, and a fried wonton or egg roll. The portions are very large. I got the sesame chicken and kung pao chicken. The sesame chicken was so crispy without being too sweet. I'll definitely be coming here regularly!

Everything here is bread disguised as meat menu items. I would avoid due to integrity and potential safety issues. The item shown is supposed to be chicken.

Best little hole in the wall Chinese I think I’ve ever had!! The food was still hot when I got home (30 min drive with traffic) and super delicious! The wontons were much better than anywhere I’ve ever had. I will say there is a little spice to almost all of the chicken options, but nothing overpowering. They greeted me with a smile when I walked in the door, and were very friendly. I placed the order online and in just 7 minutes it was ready!! I’m amazed with this place and will be going back. I also got everything for just $16!!!
