Customer reviews for Ho Ho Cherry House present a dichotomy of experiences, with some praising the consistency and service while others express significant dissatisfaction with the food quality. One reviewer had a decidedly negative experience, describing their lunch special of chicken and garlic sauce as "horrendous" and "way too watery." They also found the food to be "flavorless" and the fried rice to be "not fried," suggesting it was rushed in preparation and lacked the expected texture. This reviewer, while acknowledging a "nice atmosphere," ultimately deemed the food "deplorable" and expressed a desire for more authentic cuisine, emphasizing a focus on quality over monetary concerns.

In stark contrast, another customer had a consistently positive experience at Ho Ho Cherry House. They stated that the place is "consistently very good" and that it is their "always go to for Chinese food." This reviewer primarily utilizes the takeout service but noted that the inside of the restaurant is "very clean." They also specifically praised the host as being "incredibly sweet and personable," highlighting a positive aspect of the customer service.

The divergence in these two reviews suggests that the experience at Ho Ho Cherry House may vary. While one customer encountered significant issues with the flavor and preparation of their meal, another has found the restaurant to be consistently reliable and enjoyable, particularly for takeout. The cleanliness of the interior and the friendliness of the host appear to be consistent positive aspects mentioned.

Based on this information, potential customers might anticipate a clean dining environment and a welcoming host. However, there is a clear indication that the food quality, particularly concerning flavor and proper preparation (such as the fried rice), may be inconsistent. The chicken and garlic sauce, in one instance, was described as overly watery and flavorless, which could be a point of concern for those considering this dish.

The fact that one reviewer mentioned a "lunch special" suggests that Ho Ho Cherry House may offer discounted menu items during certain hours. However, the negative feedback associated with this particular special might warrant caution. It is unclear from the reviews if other dishes on the menu receive similar feedback or if the positive reviewer consistently orders the same items that they find to be of good quality.

The positive reviewer's consistent patronage implies that Ho Ho Cherry House likely offers reliable takeout service, which could be a preferred option for some customers, especially given their observation about the clean interior. For those considering dining in, the "nice atmosphere" mentioned by the negative reviewer could be an appealing factor, although it is important to weigh this against the reported issues with the food.

As a Chinese Restaurant in Charlotte, Ho Ho Cherry House is located in a potentially accessible area on E 7th St. The availability of both a phone number and a mobile phone number suggests that they are readily reachable for orders or inquiries. However, the lack of specific details about other services, such as delivery or online ordering, means that interested customers would need to contact the restaurant directly to ascertain the full range of services offered.

No specific promotional information, such as discounts, special offers, or loyalty programs, was mentioned in the provided customer reviews. Local users interested in finding out about any such promotions at Ho Ho Cherry House should contact the restaurant directly at (704) 376-0880 or +1 704-376-0880. They would be able to provide the most current information on any deals or specials that may be available.

In conclusion, Ho Ho Cherry House in Charlotte, NC, is a Chinese Restaurant that has received contrasting reviews from its customers. While the interior is noted for its cleanliness and the host is described as sweet and personable, there are concerns regarding the flavor and preparation of some dishes, such as the chicken and garlic sauce and fried rice. One customer has consistently found the food to be very good, suggesting that quality may be dish-dependent or that experiences can vary. Potential customers should consider these differing opinions and may want to inquire about specific dishes or current specials when contacting the restaurant. Located on E 7th St, Ho Ho Cherry House offers both takeout and potentially dine-in services. For the most accurate information on their menu, services, and any promotions, direct contact with the restaurant is recommended.

Food was flavorless ! Ordered the chicken and garlic sauce, lunch special. Horrendous, way too watery ! Nice atmosphere but the was deplorable. Can we get some authentic food please? The fried rice wasn’t not fried! It was rushed and it tasted like it. Focus on quality instead of money!💵 T

This is only for the Wonton eggdrop soup. My last two orders of this soup tastes like dishwasher, Terrible! What happened to this soup?? Did y'all get a new cook? I've been getting this soup for 20 years and it was always delicious but not now. I'm so disappointed. I will not be ordering this from Cherry House again. Please get a cook who knows how to use spices.

I’ve eaten a lot of Chinese food in my life. I used to live a half a mile from Chinatown in New York City so I didn’t really have high expectations but this might’ve been one of the worst Chinese takeouts I’ve ever had. I actually didn’t even eat everything. I gave it to my boyfriend. The fried rice was the only thing I could salvage with some soy sauce. I had the HoHo shrimp and I had the cold sesame noodles. Both had absolutely no taste and flavor. The shrimp might’ve been fried at one point and they were gummy. Even the vegetables were bad. How could that even be? It’s sad because I was hoping for a good local place.

The food was so delicious. The portions are huge. It didn't take long for us to get our food once we ordered it. The waitress was very kind and attentive. We will definitely be going back soon.
