Hidden Treasure Rum Bar & Grill, located at 4940 S Peninsula Dr, Ponce Inlet, FL 32127, offers a unique dining and bar experience with a strong emphasis on its waterfront location and tropical atmosphere. You can reach them at (386) 761-9271 or +1 386-761-9271.

Despite its unassuming exterior, this establishment provides a memorable experience, particularly for those seeking a relaxed and scenic dining setting. It is situated on a small canal near the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, offering unobstructed views of the Halifax River and its mangrove surroundings. The sunset views are frequently highlighted as a major draw.

The menu features a variety of dishes, with customers praising the flavorful food. Notably, the macaroni and cheese and the flat-iron steak are frequently mentioned as standout items. The deep-fried Key Lime pie is a popular dessert, although some find the crumb coating masks the tartness of the Key Lime. The restaurant's atmosphere is enhanced by live music performances, contributing to a lively and tropical Florida vibe.

The presence of a resident Great White Egret, named Joey, adds a unique local touch. The restaurant can get busy, so parking may be challenging, but overflow parking is available next door. February 2025: Looking for a fun place to have dinner? Try Hidden Treasure Rum Bar and Grill. The restaurant doesn't look like much from the street, small and a bit weathered, but don't be fooled. Sitting on the water's edge of a small canal by the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, provides the perfect backdrop and vibe for a great evening. The outdoor dining has an unobstructed view of the Halifax River where Mangroves thrive. The sunset was magnificent! Our food was great! I even enjoyed my green beans! There was so much flavor in every bite that I was humming "m-m-m". Okay, that was kind of stupid, but true. The flat-iron steak was delicious, but the macaroni and cheese side was one of the best I've ever tasted. The whole meal was outstanding! I tried the deep fried Key Lime pie. It was good, but the crumb coating hid the tart flavor of the Key Lime. Besides a very good waitress, the manager greeted us and spoke to us several times making sure expectations were met and that we were totally satisfied with our experience. Special recognition goes out to Joey! Joey is the resident Great White Egret. He definitely looked in charge as he scrutinized every meal delivered. The atmosphere here was amazing. You need to check this place out!

I'm a local. I've been coming here for years. I love this place! If you all have a bad experience, just remember, everyone has bad days. Its worth a 2nd shot! This place has always been great for me! Food, service, and environment! It literally gives you the feel of tropical Florida, and they often have live bands here. It's right on the inlet, so you have an awesome water view. If you're here in the evening, you may even get a stunning sunset over the water! It's always busy here, so beware of parking! If you don't see any in front of the restaurant, they have overflow right next door! Not only that, it's a short walk to the beach, or you can even pull up in your boat and dock at the private docks! Check it out! BTW, the deep fried Key Lime Pie is worth the extra pound or two you may gain! 🤤

Atmosphere is wonderful. We have been here many times (15-20) and this was the worst food and service we've ever received. We ate the food because we waited an hour for it and the waitress checked on us once at the beginning. Chili had a hard crust on the top like it had been sitting out for hours. Surf and turf burger was ordered medium, it was all pink. No sauce on crab cake. No condiments brought out for it. Fish was room temperature, other burger bun was so hard it was crunchy. The sweet potato fries were decent. When we let the waitress know, she didn't even ask questions or offer an apology. She said she would get the manager who waved her off when she told him. When she came back to give us the bill we told her he never came over. She said he wasn't going to because we ate the food. We were NOT looking for a free meal. We were simply going to offer some feedback on the experience. As we were getting up to leave he walked over asking what he could do. There is no way the owners would allow the food to come out the way it did, nor would they allow their managers to act so inappropriately. Huge disappointment. Next time we will enjoy the view elsewhere.

Food was amazing as well as the view. We stopped in for lunch and they were not busy, service could have been a little better but all was ok. I had the Cajun fillet and cheese and that was absolutely mouth watering. I would recommend if you like meat. My mom had the fried seafood platter and said she loved it.
