About Hibachi Grill Buffet

Hibachi Grill Buffet is a Chinese restaurant located at 102 S 21st St in Rogers, Arkansas. Operating under the category of Chinese Restaurant, Hibachi Grill Buffet offers a buffet-style dining experience. Potential local users considering this establishment should be aware of recent customer feedback which presents a largely negative view of the food quality, although service receives some positive mention. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on the available reviews.

Regarding the environment of Hibachi Grill Buffet, the provided reviews do not offer specific details about the restaurant's ambiance or decor. Typically, a buffet restaurant features a spacious dining area with multiple food stations offering a variety of dishes. The focus is usually on functionality and accommodating a large number of diners. Cleanliness and the organization of the buffet area are important aspects of the dining environment. Without specific comments on the environment, it is difficult to assess this aspect of Hibachi Grill Buffet based solely on the provided reviews.

In terms of services, Hibachi Grill Buffet primarily offers a buffet dining experience where customers pay a fixed price to access a wide selection of dishes. Waitstaff are generally present to seat guests, handle drink orders, and clear tables. One reviewer did highlight the "excellent and friendly service" provided by a mid-aged Asian lady who waited on them, noting that her kindness made the experience somewhat tolerable despite the poor food quality. However, another review mentioned that the staff was rude, presenting a stark contrast in service experiences. This inconsistency suggests that the quality of service might vary depending on the staff member encountered.

The features of Hibachi Grill Buffet center around the variety of dishes one would expect from a Chinese buffet, potentially including appetizers, soups, main courses with various meats and vegetables, seafood options, rice and noodle dishes, and possibly a hibachi grill section where food is cooked to order (though this is not explicitly confirmed in the reviews). However, the overwhelming feedback regarding the food quality is negative. One long-time customer, revisiting after eight years, reported that the food was "just about as bad as Chinese buffets can be" and had seemingly gotten worse over the years. Specific dishes receiving criticism include dry and clumpy rice, fishy and terrible salmon, fried fish with a strong and pungent taste, and soggy General Tso's chicken described as the worst ever tasted, even inferior to fast-food and deli versions. The hot and sour soup, wontons, egg rolls, and fried shrimp were among the very few items deemed at least edible.

Another reviewer echoed these sentiments, stating that the lo mein was undercooked, the rice was crunchy, and the beef and broccoli was cold. The only positive comment in this review was about the fried shrimp. The stark contrast between the positive mention of the fried shrimp in both negative reviews is interesting but does not outweigh the numerous criticisms of other dishes. The fact that this reviewer stated they used to love the place but would not return after paying $45 for two people due to the poor food quality underscores the severity of the issues reported.

Currently, there is no promotional information available for Hibachi Grill Buffet based on the provided reviews. Buffet restaurants sometimes offer discounts for children, seniors, or during specific days or times. To find out about any potential promotions, local users would need to contact Hibachi Grill Buffet directly by phone or visit their location. Their website or local online listings might also provide information on pricing and any special offers.

In conclusion, Hibachi Grill Buffet in Rogers, Arkansas, offers a buffet-style Chinese dining experience. While one reviewer noted excellent and friendly service from a particular staff member, the overwhelming feedback from both reviews focuses on the poor quality of the food, with multiple dishes described as badly prepared, tasteless, or even inedible. The price paid by one customer for a disappointing meal further highlights the potential for a negative experience. Potential local users should carefully consider these recent and critical reviews regarding the food quality before deciding to dine at Hibachi Grill Buffet. It might be prudent to seek more up-to-date information or alternative dining options in the area.

I come here about once every 5 years to give an honest review. it's been about 8 years since my last visit and sad to say that the food is just about as bad as Chinese buffets can be. The hot and sour soup was one of the few dishes I enjoyed. The won tons, egg rolls, and fried shrimp were among the very few dishes that were at least edible . The salmon was fishy and terrible. The rice was very dry and clumpy which is a very strange combination of bad. The fried fish was very strong pungent taste and very bad. The general tsous chicken was soggy and the worst I've ever had. Walmart does a much better version In the deli and even Panda Express is gourmet in comparison. The only saving Grace at this restaurant was the excellent and friendly service of the mid aged Asian lady who waited on me . She was kind and made this experience somewhat tolerable. I was hoping the food had improved after all the years but sad to say it's gotten worse over the years.

The lo mein wasn't done. The rice was crunchy, the beef and brocolli was cold. The staff was rude. The fried shrimp.was good tho. That's about all the good I can say. Used to love this place. But $45 (2ppl)for that kind of food won't happen again.

I saw a few good reviews of this place. Thought OK I’ll give it a try. I hate to not recommend or say anything. Good about a place. But I do not recommend this place. I was really craving Chinese and wanted something good not only was it horribly bland but over half the items were not even above room temperature. I was excited when I saw crawfish, but they had an unpleasant odor. And add that for the buffet and a drink $16 that’s overpriced for the quality of food. I hate to say it, but I would Avoid this place

My husband and I are not from the area and was pretty excited to go and was pretty excited to eat here, and the prices seem decent but you got to watch it if it's the weekend the prices are higher then what you can see at first glance on the sign, it does have where it says weekend prices are higher but you don't really notice it at the bottom of it in smaller writing. With that put aside, the food quality over all it looks good but it has no flavor, NONE!! I'm not try to be an expert but I really do like that style of food and I tend to make my own sometimes also so that's why I feel that my opinion on the food is reliable and they put so much filler in their food that my husband and I was feeling full just after the first few bites I don't like having to leave bad reviews but when something isn't good I'm going to be honest about it. It's really a get you in and push you out type of place.

Flavorless, cold and possibly illness inducing food. There was hair in the hibachi bar (photo included), and my fortune cookie didn't even have a fortune.
