About Hey Rich Roasted

Located at 6005 Fort Hamilton Pkwy in Brooklyn, NY, Hey Rich Roasted is a Chinese restaurant with a history of offering Cantonese roast meats and other dishes. Formerly known as King's Kitchen, it continues to serve the local community with a variety of options.

Based on customer reviews, the environment is likely casual and focused on the food. One reviewer recalls it as a "great spot to get inexpensive, good Cantonese roast meats" before the pandemic. While the ownership has changed and service might be perceived as "a bit more sparse" by some, at least one customer found their waitress to be "very attentive and friendly."

Hey Rich Roasted's features include a variety of noodles and rice dishes alongside their Cantonese roast meats. This offers a range of choices for different preferences. A notable recent development is the expansion of their opening hours into the later night, catering to individuals looking for a meal after work. While the prices are considered "pretty decent" relative to the cost and quality issues sometimes associated with roast meats, one customer noted that the portion sizes might feel smaller now. It's also mentioned that while stock might be limited later at night, they generally have enough for a late-night noodle craving.

Currently, specific promotional information is not available in the provided reviews. However, the consistent mention of "inexpensive" and "decent" prices suggests that affordability remains a key aspect of Hey Rich Roasted's offerings. One customer highlighted getting "inexpensive, good Cantonese roast meats" in the past, and another mentioned the prices still being "pretty decent."

For local users in Brooklyn interested in a Chinese restaurant that offers Cantonese roast meats, noodles, and rice dishes, Hey Rich Roasted presents itself as an option with a history in the neighborhood. The extended late-night hours could be particularly appealing for those seeking a later meal. However, potential customers should be aware of the recent observations regarding potentially smaller portion sizes and the possibility of limited stock later in the evening. For the most current information on their menu, prices, and any ongoing promotions, contacting the restaurant directly at (718) 853-1388 or +1 718-853-1388 might be helpful.

I fondly remember this place from prepamdemic. It was a great spot to get inexpensive, good cantonese roast meats. The food variety now remains with my favorites of noodles and rice and your options of roast meats. They recently expanded their opening hours into the later night so people can enjoy after work, too. The prices are still pretty decent compared to how expensive and problematic quality for roast meats can be. But their portions do feel smaller now. At night, there's not a lot of people but also not a lot of stock left. However, they seem to always have enough for that late night bowl of noodles to just satisfy a craving. Now that it's a snowy and chilly time, that is even more welcome. The ownership has changed from when it used to be King's Kitchen, and service is a bit more sparse. However, the waitress I had was very attentive and friendly. I'm glad to see this place open into the night again and I hope they do well.

Ordered beef over noodles, apparently this Chinese restaurant likes using instant ramen… majority of the dish was noodles, maybe 3 pieces of beef

I tried ordering from Meat Corner II through Uber Eats in the morning. They were open at 9:30 AM, and I placed my order around 10 AM. Shortly after, a lady from the restaurant called to inform me that they wouldn't be ready until 11 AM. I asked if she could cancel my order so I could reorder at 11, but I couldn't understand her response. I checked the Uber Eats app and saw that I could cancel the order myself, so I did. I told the lady I'd try to reorder at 11. However, by 11 AM, we had made other plans. Later in the afternoon, Uber sent me an email stating they were charging me for the order because the restaurant had already started preparing it. I was frustrated because they had called to say they wouldn't be ready until 11. I complained to Uber and got my money back in Uber Cash, which is somewhat inconvenient. This restaurant should adjust their Uber Eats opening time and lock the menu until they're actually ready, or at worst, they're being dishonest. I still don't know if the food is any good... (Update) It turns out an acquaintance of mine is part owner of the restaurant chain, so I was asked to give it another try. So, I did. The char siu was kind of dry. The roast pork was good, but it's hard to mess that up. The duck was okay, and the beef with rice noodles was a very large portion but not very tasty. The owner told me that the original Meat Corner is better because Meat Corner II is run by the same staff from the previously failed store at this location. Thanks for letting me know afterwards, boss! At best, I can only give this place 2 stars.

Bought bbq meat there 2 times and both times I felt they stole some pieces from my order. Do you think the picture below resembles a complete half?

Not an honest seller. People only eat roast pigs for the crispy skins and the meat, therefore it's absurd that when I ordered Hong Kong style roast pork, I received more than half of a box of pork bones.
