Heritage Diner

We have come to the Heritage Diner multiple times and were never disappointed. I was surprised when I noticed that I'd not left a review. The inside has three sections all equally comfortable. We sat in the room to the right of the register. It was quiet and welcoming. Lucille, our server was patient and helpful in answering all our questions. She checked in with us without being overbearing. The food was fabulous! I haven't had a grilled cheese sandwich in years but they had a page in the menu with an assortment of options and pictures! I really enjoyed the creamy cheese and crispy toast. Plus, perfect fries. My husband’s salad was unique and delicious. Highly recommend the Heritage Diner.

Another quick one Mid morning stop.. In between Breakfast and lunch, around 10am Where do you eat? A Diner, of course!! (On suggestion from a friend who lives close😉) The burger was surprisingly good. Not a "Tippy Top" Tier by any stretch of the imagination, but it had a decent earthiness to it, which I enjoy. A touch over medium rare, but, so what🤷‍♂️ It was as juicy as can be. I really enjoyed it. The bun was useless, dry and fell apart, but whatever. The French Fries were the star of the plate👏👏👏 Definitely hand cut, soaked, rinsed, then pre-fried, before service. They tasted great!!!! One of the best plate of fries I've had this year!!! The pickle was pretty good, as well. Cole slaw, meh Service was really good. I had the pleasure of dining at Mount Sinai Heritage Diner and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Edible food. Not bad not great. Overpriced especially compared to other options around… Went to order dessert and was told I could not order the cake because it was “too old” and they had to throw it out despite it being in the display case when I arrived. Gross but at least they tossed it instead of serving- but a business should never be ran this way… I have never been to a restaurant/diner and was told something like this before… Not sure why it’s so packed.

Heritage Diner is the best. They treated us well. Excellent full meal menu for Thanksgiving. Appetizer, soup or salad, main entree, dessert, coffee. THANK YOU TO "ARI" OUR SERVER. ❤️ Rosemary, Ken & Jan.
