About Heavenly Pho Vietnamese Cuisine

Welcome to Heavenly Pho Vietnamese Cuisine, located at 19178 Blanco Rd #305, San Antonio, TX 78258, USA. As a Vietnamese Restaurant, we offer a taste of Vietnam with popular dishes like Pho and Vermicelli bowls. You can reach us at (210) 545-3553 or our mobile number +1 210-545-3553 for inquiries.

Based on recent customer reviews, Heavenly Pho boasts a beautifully decorated interior and provides immediate greeting and seating upon arrival. Customers have noted attentive service, with the waiter checking on tables frequently and accommodating requests such as warming noodles.

Our menu features a variety of Vietnamese staples. One customer enjoyed the Pho special and Crispy Calamari, noting the Pho was seasoned to perfection. Another customer ordered the Vermicelli Chicken bowl with an eggroll and shrimp. Fresh rolls and Vietnamese coffee are also typically offered, although the coffee service may differ from the traditional slow drip method found in Vietnam.

However, some customers have expressed concerns regarding the portion sizes of certain items relative to the price. One review mentioned a limited amount of protein in the Vermicelli Chicken bowl and dissatisfaction with the quality of the shrimp, specifically noting poorly cleaned shrimp. The overall cost of the meal was also a point of consideration for one customer, who felt the value did not align with the price paid.

The ambiance of the restaurant has been described as having a darker interior due to the curtains. Despite some concerns about specific dishes and pricing, the restaurant appears to offer a pleasant environment and attentive service. We encourage local users to explore our menu, which includes options like Pho, Vermicelli bowls, and Banh Mi, and experience Vietnamese cuisine in San Antonio.

Having Pho in the US is always something to look up to when traveling across the globe. Most Vietnamese (Pho) restaurants in the US have a common taste. Fresh roll is also something that goes well before the noodle. Vietnamese coffee is also a must. It's just not served in a dropping way of a local coffee would do. The inside is too dark from the curtains though.

On Friday evening, my boyfriend suggested Vietnamese for dinner. While he wanted Pho, I saw some photos of tasty vermicelli bowls that looked like they would hit the spot. After searching online, Heavenly Pho popped up in our search so we made our way slowly to the restaurant during rush hour traffic. The restaurant was decorated beautiful inside and we were greeted immediately upon entry and seated by our waiter. While our waiter took our drink orders, we browsed the menu and I decided to dine on the Vermicelli Chicken bowl that included an eggroll and shrimp, while my boyfriend selected the Pho special and an order of Crispy Calamari. Our waiter came out often to check on us and even warmed my noodles at my request for my Vermicelli bowl. While I understand we are dealing with inflation, I wasn't pleased to count 5 pieces of chicken and see 2 pieces of shrimp heaped on a bowl of noodles and bean sprouts. After viewing other restaurants and seeing what was in placed in front of me, I started to doubt our choice to dine here. I for one love eating at home and my boyfriend loves eating out, but if you are going to raise prices to around $14 a bowl, 1/3 cup of meat should at least be the standard to serve to your guest. I also wasn't pleased with the poorly cleaned shrimp with the dirt line that glowed on the plate in front of me. I felt a bit slighted as he dined on his Pho so I ended up tasting his selection, which was seasoned to perfection. He also ordered a Banh Mi to go and we paid our tab. For nearly $64 with a tip, I do believe I could have found a meal that I felt was worth the trip and cost elsewhere. When I eat out, I like to find restaurants that have ingredients that I normally don't cook with so that I feel like it was worth the trip, labor and cost. My meal, I feel I definitely could have prepared off of a YouTube tutorial and enjoyed more at home. I felt like they tried to disguise the protein under the vegetables to make you think you were getting more than you were (sigh). I will continue looking around San Antonio for other selections.

Best Banh Mi I've ever had so far. The beef stew was amazing as well. The service was great. The staff will check on you, but not to the point of being overbearing. The restaurant itself is clean, and the ambiance is nice.

Walked in as a big group about 16 people but didn’t have to wait. The restaurant was big enough to accommodate us. I had Bun bo hue, and it was delicious, probably the best in SA. Service was great.

Prices were fair. Good sized helpings. Pho was tasty. Beef was a bit chewy but good.
