HB Japanese Steak House &Sushi

Coworker recommended this was the best Japanese food he had ever eaten was this restaurant. He set the bar pretty high, and boy, was it a disappointment. Typical setting but dated. Previous experiences at Hibachi restaurants were fun and entertaining. Not the case hear and i watched several tables, and it was lacking the show. The chef did little talking and really no show. Food was fair portions but didn't taste that good. Coworkers that went went me and said it tasted burnt. Had a different taste than other hibachi restaurants they had eaten at. We were all in agreement that it was not the best and would not eat there again. It is a once and done for me. My recommendation is to find a different hibachi restaurant before you go here.

It was our first time and new to the experience, the host didn't really explain everything very well, but we still had a good time. I also would've liked a little more theatrics from the chef. We plan to return, but hopefully, we get a better experience.

Food was flavorful. Service was better than average. Price average. Serving size way above average. Steak and shrimp were very good. The chicken is slightly dry. Enjoyable meal with family ! Felt slightly rushed to finish towards end of the meal.

The food was good, the chef was great but the waitress service was absolutely rude to myself and husband. We simply asked questions about the menu and ordering details and she was constantly dismissive while catering to the others at our table. So Disappointed in the service treatment after spending $100 but won’t we be back to patronize this establishment.

We went for lunch which we had never done before. It was a great experience. Similar portion size as donner with a few differences but much better pricing. Still a great show by the hibachi chef and as always the Garlic Chicken Fried Rice was wonderful!
