Hawkers Asian Street Food

Wow! What a great experience. My husband and I randomly stumbled across this gem of a restaurant, by accident. The wait was shorter than anticipated and we were greeted with smiles and friendliness. Our server, Cassie was BEYOND amazing! She was super personable and you can tell she loves her job and doesn’t put on a fake face like most servers. She had great recommendations for food options, and she engaged with our table. Kudos to her. We WILL be returning and we’ll forever ask for her as her customer service/hospitality was phenomenal Lastly, the food was amazing. Not one thing was “bad”. Everything had flavor, spice (like I like it), and the food came out fresh! 10/10 recommend

We came here at 6:30 PM on a Friday night. The weight was around 15 minutes for three people. The twice fried Korean chicken was the best thing I’ve ever had in my mouth. The beef Haw Fun was really good too. The staff would really nice would definitely return when I’m in the Bethesda area.

First of all I would like to give a shout out to John! I love how you introduced yourself, gave us your recommendations, also help me with all of my dietary needs. Love you John! I absolutely love this place for anyone that wants to try out street food. My friend and I had a variety of dishes and split the bill right in half. You can't go wrong with trying all of their food. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions let your server know because they are very attentive on making sure you are satisfied. Hands down the best service that I've ever got in a restaurant, atmosphere was 100%, service was 100% from beginning to end. Definitely try the bulgogi, coconut shrimp, buns, wonton!!

Nice assortment of mainstream Asian street food dishes, vibrant and immersive decor, and friendly and good enough service to make this a pleasurable visit. We tried the following items; Korean Twice Fried Wings (Sauced in garlic gochujang and topped with peanuts, sesame and cilantro) - lots of crunch in each bite, and while the gochujang flavor could be more robust, it still had a lot of delicious flavor. Chili Crisp Cucumbers (Sichuan-style cucumbers topped with toasted sesame seeds and fresh cilantro) - a little underwhelming, especially in texture and spice level. Could have been crispier (they were on the soggier side) and definitely more spicy. Pad Thai (Rice noodles with shrimp and chicken, wok-fired in a tangy red chili pepper sauce with eggs and veggies. Topped with roasted peanuts and fresh lime) - solid version of pad Thai, unremarkable but no complaints either. Bulgogi Steak (Korean BBQ marinated steak, wok-fired and glazed with sweet and savory bulgogi sauce. Served with sautéed onions, spicy kimchi, housemade pickles, and gochujang) - meat quality could have been a bit better both otherwise a fine bulgogi. And while we didn't have it this time, their paratha with curry is sublime! Overall, solid, and worth returning to try other items on the menu.

Absolutely fantastic! The food was very flavorful, great portion sizes, very good value for the price, and came quickly. Great decor and atmosphere, with a spacious, open vibe. I ordered the CKT and would recommend highly. Our waiter Can was also great!!
