Hawkers Asian Street Food

EDIT: the manager reached out and invited us back in to make up for the experience we had in my original review. This time was like night and day! Our server, Jessica, was fantastic and super attentive. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious. Definitely try the beef bulgogi if you eat meat, it was so so good! We appreciated being invited back in and are looking forward to our next time in. 1 star experience. We unfortunately couldn’t even eat at Hawkers since a server never came over to our table. Staff just continually walked by or were talking near the kitchen. It was Thursday at around 3:20pm so not very busy. We sat for over 10 minutes with no one coming to get our order or bring us waters. Tables that came in after us at least got drinks. The host had no idea what was going on so we left, he didn’t even know they offered happy hour specials. So disappointing as we really enjoy the food. This is not the first time the service has been a miss.

Every time I come here it's a great time, with great service. I try something new every time and haven't had a bad experience yet. Wings are fabulous! The food is so good and I love the sort of tapas environment. great Japanese beer selection, sake was awesome (definitely recommend the Pearl!)

The food was in smaller portions maybe because it was lunch. I understand they make it to order and it comes at different times but my husband had to wait until we'll after we finished our meals to get his to eat. The place is vibrant with music and the outside sitting is great to watch the loofah area. I would recommend to come but don't be starving when you do.

I had lunch here with my mom. The atmosphere was great. The service was amazing. And the food I will definitely come back for. This community table style restaurant is a great choice.

I stopped at Hawkers Asian Street Food for lunch yesterday. Here is what I thought: Ambiance: I loved the ambiance of the restaurant. It had a nice, open concept and ample seating on the inside. They also have a nice outdoor seating area, it’s perfect place to sit and enjoy nice weather or to enjoy a meal with your furry friend. Restrooms: The restrooms were nice and clean. The lighting was quite dark which I didn’t like, but other than that the restrooms were good. Service: We sat at the bar because we didn’t want to wait for a table. The service was quick and attentive. The bartender (forgot her name) gave great food recommendations. It took a little bit of time for our food to come out, but it was worth the wait. Food: I loved how their menu is a variety of different Asian cuisines. We decided to share 3 small plates instead of each getting an entree. First, we tried their soup dumplings which were fresh and delicious. They were very juicy and came with a ginger dipping sauce. Second, we tried their Duck Bao buns which were also delicious. Lastly, we tried their Bulgogi Steak which was my favorite, it had so much flavor and I loved the combination of Kimchi and Cucumbers that comes with the steak. It made me like Kimchi. We added a side of Jasmine rice with it to soak up the sauce, yum! We loved our lunch here and would love to come back to try different menu options! Instagram: @living.with.reg
