The heart of Hawaiian Isle lies in its creatively inspired menu, which takes the foundation of beloved Chinese dishes and infuses them with tropical flavors and ingredients often associated with Hawaiian cuisine. Our chefs are passionate about experimenting with this unique culinary intersection, resulting in dishes that are both familiar in their Chinese roots and surprisingly delightful in their tropical twists. This fusion approach allows for a playful and innovative exploration of flavors, incorporating elements such as tropical fruits, island-inspired sauces, and perhaps even cooking techniques that draw from both Chinese and Hawaiian traditions. The menu at Hawaiian Isle is designed to be an adventure for the palate, inviting diners to discover new and exciting combinations that they might not find elsewhere.

You might find classic Chinese dishes reimagined with the addition of ingredients like pineapple, mango, or coconut, or perhaps the incorporation of Hawaiian cooking techniques into traditional Chinese preparations. This could involve the use of sweet and savory tropical sauces, the inclusion of fresh, vibrant fruits and vegetables, or even the adaptation of traditional island dishes with a Chinese culinary sensibility. The aim is to create a menu that is both intriguing and satisfying, offering a harmonious blend of familiar and novel flavors that appeal to a wide range of diners.

Given the unique nature of our fusion cuisine, the menu at Hawaiian Isle is likely to feature dishes that stand out from the typical Chinese restaurant fare. This could include innovative takes on stir-fries, noodles, rice dishes, seafood, and meat preparations, all infused with a tropical flair. The presentation of the food may also reflect the thematic concept, with attention paid to visual appeal to enhance the overall dining experience and evoke the spirit of the Hawaiian Islands.

To complement our fusion menu, Hawaiian Isle offers a selection of beverages that may also incorporate tropical elements. This could include refreshing fruit-based drinks, perhaps some island-inspired cocktails (if applicable), and of course, a selection of traditional Chinese teas and other standard beverages to cater to different preferences.

As a unique Chinese restaurant with a distinct theme, Hawaiian Isle may periodically offer special promotions or events that further highlight our fusion concept or provide opportunities for guests to experience new and exciting dishes. These could include themed nights, special tasting menus featuring our innovative creations, or perhaps seasonal offers that incorporate the freshest tropical ingredients. Some of the BEST Asian cuisine I've had in a really long time. We got the "Big Chow" and "Treasure Island" so we could both try each of them. While the ingredients on the page were similar, the sauces were completely different. Both were amazing, I can't say which I liked better. Both have a rich, succulent depth of flavor, with plenty of meat (no skimping there), and loads of veggies. There was no rice served with either meal, but that was fine. We didn't miss it at all. We skipped the appetizer, too. He did have the scorpion bowl for 1, said it had good flavor, and was exactly what he expected in regards to plenty of spirits... lol. We will definitely be putting this on our regular rotation list, not only for the food quality (which is reason enough) but also for the price. We were very pleased with everything about our trip to Hawaiian Isle. A definite must if you're looking for great Asian cuisine.

Enjoyed our second visit under the new ownership. Ordered a Pupu platter for 2, side of beef fried rice, crab rangoons and extra order of chicken fingers to go. The beef teriyaki and boneless spare ribs were extremely tender, the chicken wings perfectly crispy and salty and the fingers were slightly crunchy on the outside while very tender on the inside. The rice was very fresh and flavorful while the crab rangoons were crispy and full. Overall we enjoyed our visit however we found ourselves missing the complimentary bread and waters that used to be delivered to the table upon arrival. We drive an hour to visit and all agree (including our kids) that it is well worth the trip.

Have been going to this restaurant for many years. It was recently purchased by new owners who are less friendly and welcoming than the former. The menu is virtually unchanged other than a price increase. The wait staff was efficient. The atmosphere is tired and has not been renovated in probably 40 years but somehow adds to the old-fashioned Chinese restaurant atmosphere. Love their lobster sauce, lo mein, egg rolls, beef teriyaki, egg foo young, and sweet and sour chicken. We were surprised that this restaurant doe not serve or offer rolls or bread nor do they offer pineapple at the end of your meal. Reasonably priced and a fun throw-back experience.

Had one of the best Chinese food meals here. Old fashioned ambiance. Friendly servers and a good meal. I'll be back! Editing.. went for my second time last weekend and what a difference. Our rice came out tasting like hand sanitizer. When we said something the waitress seemed annoyed that we said something. Instead of remaking our whole meal they just replaced the rice. My coworker pointed to her veggies and asked how she was supposed to separate the rice from the veggies. It was like pulling teeth. I'll try one more time. One good and one bad.
