About Happy Wok II

Happy Wok II is a Chinese restaurant situated at 182 Saxer Ave, Springfield, PA 19064, USA. They can be contacted at (610) 328-3663 or +1 610-328-3663.

Based on recent customer reviews, Happy Wok II offers Chinese cuisine for the local Springfield community. One reviewer found the food to be "fine" but not the best in the area, suggesting a decent but perhaps not exceptional culinary experience. Specific feedback included a desire for a spicier General Tso’s chicken with more seasoning and pork in the egg roll. Additionally, they noted an instance of cold broccoli in one dish. This customer also mentioned a positive interaction with the staff regarding a brown rice order, which would have taken an extra 10 minutes, leading them to opt for white rice instead. On a positive note, their children enjoyed the beef and broccoli dish.

Another reviewer, a first-time customer, highlighted the variability in how different Chinese restaurants prepare dishes. They ordered Beef with Broccoli in garlic sauce, which they found to be sticky and unexpectedly included mushrooms. This inclusion was not to their preference, and they indicated they would not have ordered the dish if they had known it contained mushrooms. However, they stated that overall the food was "okay."

In summary, reviews suggest that Happy Wok II provides an acceptable Chinese food experience for the local area. While some dishes may not meet individual preferences or expectations regarding spice level, ingredients, or preparation, other dishes, like the beef and broccoli, have been well-received. Customers looking for a local Chinese takeout option in Springfield may find Happy Wok II to be a satisfactory choice, but it's advisable to be aware that preparation methods might vary from other establishments and to inquire about specific ingredients if there are any concerns.

The food is fine, but not the best in the area. I wish the General Tso’s was spicier and wish the eggroll had more pork and more seasonings. Also the broccoli in one dish was cold. We had also asked for brown rice but when I got there they told me it would be 10 extra minutes for brown rice so I said never mind and just got white rice instead. She was very nice about it! On a positive note, my children liked the beef and broccoli!

First time being here, I can say that not every Chinese restaurant make food the same. Because I bought Beef w. Broccoli in garlic sauce and it was sticky and then they put mushrooms in it. I never had my food with stuff like that. If I knew it came with it then I wouldn't have ordered it. But overall food was okay

The kid working the counter is a badass legend. on the flip side I ordered chicken and wanted to specify there was no peanuts but they gave me chicken drenched with peanuts yo. Just put the peanuts in the bag

Beware vegans!! I do not think they care. I am very disappointed for three major reasons.... 1. Look at how much oil. 2. I asked for "on a scale of 1 to 10, please give me a 20 - hurt me"... it is like a 2 based on my experience of the spicy scale. 3. I taste beef stock in this brown sauce after explaining that I only eat plants and I don't want any sauce that is made from animal stocks. This was the worst I have had in at least 10 years. Just terrible - especially considering that they somehow have a good rating. They would need to pay me to eat this again.

Haven't had in awhile, maybe under new ownership. The food was awful, Kungpao was deep fried overcooked, shrimp and scallops were also overcooked, sadly we didn't finish our meals
