This place is good! China ambiance. Food serving is big for the hot pot. I liked the way it's cooked on your own table. All the food we ordered was really delicious. We were family of three, so there's no way we could finish the hot pot. Good thing, you could take it home for whatever left over on your table. They have complimentary dessert---ice cream! Love it! Definitely we will come back with friends in the future.

Legitimate Northern Chinese cuisine, you come here for the experience when they put a giant iron pot in the centre of your table and wait for it to cook. Portions are quite big which is nice. Interesting to see people of different background come here - many are non-Asian!

This. This place was #1 on my hit list for our trip to the Greater Toronto area. My family’s from Dongbei China and living in the states we STRUGGLE to find food that’s truly reflective of the vibrance of what this region has to offer. Especially iron pot stew with corn flour pancakes. And this was it. We came here on Thanksgiving day and got the iron pot goose stew - it was way better fowl and carbs than most Thanksgivings I can remember in my lifetime 😊 Worth mentioning also is the shovel cumin lamb, some of the other novelty items like the were unique but less flavorful than the classics.

had an early dinner with my mom, husband, aunt, and uncle. it was my first time though and the food didnt disappoint us especially this cold weather. love the soft tofu and shrimp fried rice!

The restaurant is quite unique with the stew and corn flour pancake. The food is very flavourful. However, it is best to come with a large group to order more variety. The portions are pretty big and include a complimentary dessert (ice cream or popsicle). Price is on the higher side, but offers a slightly better service and atmosphere in comparison to regular Chinese restaurants. They also have special signs and songs that they play for birthday celebrations. The restaurant is packed, so it's recommended to make a reservation at least a week in advance.
