They’ve got the BEST sweet and sour chicken I've ever had! I get Chinese food pretty often from different restaurants, but theirs just hits different. The ingredients always taste so fresh. It feels like their food is seriously made with love. The hot and sour soup is also my go-to; tastes so comforting. It’s to order unlike other Chinese takeout places, which makes them standout. The owner is super sweet and treats his customers like family. I 100% recommend this place if you're in the area and definitely worth the trip just to try them.

Grateful to have this restaurant open late near me. Happy Garden is super old school American Chinese in their operations and the menu, so don’t except anything too fancy or exotic. I’ve tried almost every category on the menu (appetizers, soups, chicken, beef, shrimp, Ho fun, mi fun, fried stuff), and while I feel it’s not 100% consistent, most of the time they hit the spot. If you’re particular about how something is made, they listen to special requests too. My favorites are fried wings and shrimp dishes, because i can taste the good and fresh ingredients.

The Happy Garden does a prepares a steamed and fried dumpling like no other. The staff is helpful with food selections. I would say walk over and bring your appetite. The atmosphere has a Chinese-Take-Out New York Style with booths that are attached and authentic. If you are in the mood for home made cooking this is a one of a kind happy dumplin'
