About Happy Garden

Happy Garden, located at 7211 3rd Ave in Brooklyn, New York, serves the local community with a variety of Chinese dishes available for takeout and delivery. While details about the restaurant's dine-in environment are not provided, customer reviews highlight aspects of their food and service.

One enthusiastic customer highly recommends Happy Garden, particularly praising their fried wontons as the best ever, well-seasoned and flavorful enough to not require dipping sauce. They also enjoyed the vegetable chow fun and described the hot and sour soup as perfect, expressing eagerness to try more of their menu. This reviewer also commended the front staff, assumed to be the owner, for being very sweet and accommodating.

However, another long-time customer shared a disappointing recent experience with a delivery order placed through a third-party platform. This customer reported a missing item (wonton soup) and being charged extra for chili oil that they believed should have been included or offered as a small courtesy given the order issue and their loyalty. They expressed significant dissatisfaction with the customer service, feeling that the handling of a minor charge led to a negative experience and a loss of their future business and recommendations.

Despite the contrasting experiences, Happy Garden can be contacted for orders at (718) 748-1113 or +1 718-748-1113. Potential customers may want to consider both the positive feedback on food quality and the reported negative customer service experience when making their decision. Information regarding any current promotions is not available in the provided reviews.

They have The. Best. fried wontons ever. They're so well-seasoned and flavorful that you do not need any dipping sauce. I had their vegetable chow fun and it was so delicious! The lady in the front, who I assume is the owner, is soooo very sweet and accommodating. ALSO their hot and sour soup is perfect. I can't wait to try more of their foods. 10000/10

I’m so disappointed in Happy Garden. I have ordered from them religiously for years as my go to for Chinese because the food was mostly pretty good and the prices fair. A friend of mine ordered for me from them through grub hub. We both got a pint of wonton soup, an egg roll, one container of chilli oil to split and a soda which all came out to over $20 so it’s not like they didn’t make money from our order. Upon delivery, we notice one of our soups is missing as well as the chilli oil. So we call back for the soup she sounds annoyed already. Then I mention the chilli oil she said no you have to pay extra for that! Which would’ve never been a problem it’s just my friend must have wrote it in the comments and didn’t realize it was something extra to order. So I said, we’ll pay the .75 cents but not for nothing you forgot half my lunch, would be nice as a .75 cent courtesy. Nope. She took my .75 cents. And she probably didn’t know it was for me since my friend ordered and that I’m a long time customer, who also recommends you to everyone in bay ridge. You just lost so much business over .75 cents because that’s just embarrassing. Shame on you.

Wings with pork fried rice 👍🏽 The rice was really good, I'm definitely coming back to try more of their dishes.

Food is bland, nothing is seasoned. The lady- he she- they seems like she hates her job. and is doing you a favor for ordering from them. Do yourself a favor and order from Panda. It's the only descent spot left in the 70's, even 80's. Taste of China used to be banging until the kids took over, now it's a hit or miss and the delivery guy needs an attitude check.

Really great food at a fair price. The dumplings are really flavorful and the white rice is the perfect sticky consistency. The beef lo mein is a big serving even for the pint and it lasts me two meals, which is perfect for taking to work for lunch the next day.
