Happy Fishman Chinese Seafood Cuisine 漁民樂

The food is hit or miss, the portion size is definitely small but the price is also cheaper. The water cook fish wasn’t spicy at all. The lobsters are ok. Not much meat, but that’s because the price you pay. The Fried Big Intestine was not clean, so it had the not clean taste. The Pepper and Salt stir fry squid, did not taste like squid at all.. tasted more like fish texture. The stir fry snails tasty, the first time. Second time we came back.. not so tasty anymore.

This Chinese restaurant is really good! Came here with a bunch of friends and the portion/pricing is extremely fair. The taste itself is super; we had numerous rice, chicken, lobster dishes along with really good hot sauces/chilli oils. I highly reccoemnd coming here to feast with the mandem and splitting the bill. We were shocked to see how low the bill was after it was split amongst about 8 people! 9/10 reccomend this place. There was just a small dog barking inside the restaurant which i personally didn't mind but some people may find a nuisance.

This restaurant used to be our cafeteria, we usually came here once a week, but time by time we found both the quantity and service quality was not as good as before. Today it was even disappointed as the tomato sauce shrimp was only 6 pieces (usually there are 8-10 pieces) , same as short pork rib with garlic, only 7 pieces (forgot to take the photo)

Had the clams with black bean sauce, a vancouver crab with ginger and scallions, fried rice and 2 types of clams. Everything aside from the razor clams were excellent. The deep fried coconut dessert was sooo good as well.

Happy Fishman was recommended to me by a friend. It caters mainly to Chinese customers, so sometimes it's very difficult to communicate with the servers. When we came in, they didn't know how to welcome us because we were Southeast Asians but we were able to find a common ground. The food tasted authentic Chinese food. There is this signature taste that you can only get when food is cooked in a gas fire. We ordered lobster, fried rice, steamed fish, etc, and it all came fresh and piping hot to our table. We were very friendly with our servers even though we were communicating through sign language. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you can get past the communication barrier, the dishes tasted heavenly, and we also got free Hongkong style coffee on our way out. The prices are acceptable, and servings are not skimpy
