Based on recent customer feedback, experiences may vary. One customer reported disappointment with the quantity of extra shrimp ordered in a special lo mein dish, receiving only five shrimp for the entire order. This customer also mentioned that the food could have been cooked more thoroughly and indicated it was their first time trying the restaurant.

In contrast, another long-term customer (of approximately 8 years) noted a change in ownership a couple of years ago and expressed positive feedback regarding the new owners, describing them as great and more welcoming than the previous ones. This customer found the food to be pretty good and reasonably priced, highly recommending the Jalapeno fried rice as some of the best in Houston.

A standout recommendation from a loyal customer is the Jalapeno fried rice, which is described as exceptionally good and a must-try for those who enjoy fried rice.

I paid for extra shrimp in my special lo mein dish I received a total of 5 shrimp for the whole order. My mistake, I went off of a 2 year old picture that looked good. I guess I'll update it for you guys. Id leave a better review if the food was cooked a bit more. First time trying this place so I tipped the person in front almost half the price of my order.

I've been coming here for about 8 years! I believe they switched owners a couple years ago. The new owners are great and way more welcoming than the previous ones! The food is pretty good and it isn't too pricey! Try the Jalapeno fried rice! You won't be disappointed! It's some of the best fried rice in all of H-Town and I don't mean that lightly!

I ordered porkchop and shrimp fried rice the porkchop was harder than bricks and I do mean harder than I had to argue with the people to give me something else finally they gave me some wings I will not revist. Tip to the cook if you coat the porkchop with flour and then fry them I promise you they will come out better you just can't fry them like you fry chicken. The killer part was that the cook told me to take them home and add a sauce or gravy to them. I don't buy food at restaurants to bring home and recook they we awful I wouldn't even have given them to a homeless person on the street.

Good food! Being from VA you don’t find good Chinese food in Texas like you do up north. I’ve tried multiple places and this by far is the best

The food was bland. There was absolute no seasoning on anything. The lady at the counter is rude and rolls her eyes. I handed my money to her and she with an attitude put my change on a lil holder. When the food was ready, she handed it to me with an attitude while rolling her eyes. If I could give this zero stars, I would because that what it deserves.
