Based on recent customer feedback available online, experiences at Happy Dragon appear to be somewhat mixed. One customer who dined in noted that the person serving and cooking did their best to provide good service, awarding them four out of five stars for their efforts. However, this same review mentioned discrepancies between the menu description and what was actually provided, specifically regarding soup or drink offerings. The customer also stated that while the food tasted good, they perceived potentially misleading offers and a negative atmosphere created by another individual, leading them to express that they would not recommend the restaurant or return.

Another customer shared their experience with a takeout order from Happy Dragon. This review highlighted a few areas of disappointment. Firstly, they noted the absence of fortune cookies in their bag, which is often a customary inclusion with Chinese takeout orders. Secondly, they found the soup to be lacking in salt and overall not very enjoyable. Regarding the main dishes, the chicken Lo Mein was described as "okay" but with small portions. On a more positive note, the sweet and sour chicken was mentioned as being perhaps one of the better items they received. However, the sesame chicken was criticized for not being sufficiently crunchy. Overall, this customer's experience was not very positive, though they did leave open the possibility of giving Happy Dragon another chance in the future.

Considering these recent reviews, it's important for local users to have a balanced perspective. While one customer appreciated the effort of the staff member who served and cooked, issues were raised concerning menu accuracy and the overall atmosphere. The takeout experience described in the other review indicates potential inconsistencies in food quality, portion sizes, and the inclusion of expected items like fortune cookies. The comments on the soup, Lo Mein, sweet and sour chicken, and sesame chicken provide specific feedback on the taste and preparation of these dishes.

As a Chinese restaurant offering both dine-in and takeout, Happy Dragon likely has a menu featuring a range of popular Chinese dishes. Based on the customer reviews, some of the items available include soup, chicken Lo Mein, sweet and sour chicken, and sesame chicken. Lo Mein is a classic noodle dish often stir-fried with vegetables and protein. Sweet and sour chicken typically involves battered and fried chicken pieces coated in a sweet and tangy sauce. Sesame chicken is another popular dish featuring chicken coated in a sweet and savory sesame sauce, often with a crispy texture. The feedback suggests that the quality and execution of these dishes might vary.

For local users in the Indianapolis area considering Happy Dragon, it would be prudent to weigh the provided feedback. The positive note regarding the service of the individual who served and cooked suggests that some staff members are dedicated to providing a good experience. However, the concerns about menu accuracy, atmosphere, soup quality, Lo Mein portion size, and the preparation of the sesame chicken should also be taken into consideration. The mention of potentially misleading offers warrants careful attention when ordering or dining at the establishment.

Given the limited information available and the mixed nature of the recent reviews, it is difficult to provide a comprehensive introduction to the environment or any specific features of Happy Dragon beyond it being a Chinese restaurant offering dine-in and takeout. No promotional information was included in the provided text. Therefore, local users who are interested in trying Happy Dragon may want to consider these recent experiences and potentially inquire directly with the restaurant about their current menu, offerings, and any ongoing promotions. It might also be helpful to look for more recent reviews from a wider range of customers to get a more comprehensive understanding of the current dining experience at Happy Dragon.

In conclusion, Happy Dragon is a Chinese restaurant located on E 71st Street in Indianapolis, offering both dine-in and takeout services. Recent customer reviews present a mixed picture, with positive comments on the service of at least one staff member but concerns raised about menu accuracy, atmosphere, food quality (specifically soup and sesame chicken), and portion sizes. Potential customers may want to consider these points when deciding whether to visit or order from Happy Dragon and perhaps seek additional feedback to form a more complete opinion.

The person who was serving and cooking did his best to give us good service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but they do not comply with the soup or drink that the menu says. The food tasted good, but they may have misleading offers. Or the lady made the atmosphere heavy. I do not recommend it and I do not think I will go back.

We got take out from Happy Dragon. There were not fortune cookies in our bag so that was disappointing. The soup wasn’t salty enough and was not great. The chicken lo Mein was okay but small portions. The sweet and sour chicken was maybe one of the better things we got. The sesame chicken wasn’t crunchy enough. Overall, not very good but maybe we’ll give another chance.

Super expensive!! We ordered three dishes of bourbon chicken and general soas. The total was 57 dollars. We received the smallest sides I’ve ever seen. But the worst part is that the chicken portion is a sham and when you open it up you find out that the bottom half of the chicken is completely vegetables. The picture only shows a 1/8th of the vegetables. The fried rice is not fried it’s normal rice. So you basically pay for a little bit of chicken, a little bit of sides and a whole lot of vegetables!!! To top it all off we didn’t even eat it because it’s so flavorless and overcooked. Never ever going back to this place. I’d rather eat a PB&j.

Hot, fresh, fast and so good. The crab rangoons have crab in them, and the spring rolls were fat. 10/10, I thinking found my favorite Chinese food spot

Their service was super mid, I had to go back inside to get something to eat with, and while eating I had the delight of finding a bone in my chicken. (pic below in case anyone wants to see) Won’t be doing this again.
