Happy Dragon Chinese Express

Happy Dragon is close to our home and we have enjoyed their food except for the last two times. Last time we ordered, we both got sick. We decided to give them another try. My noodles were not hot and actually had some cold spots like they just came out of the refrigerator. Beef in the beef and broccoli I had to chew for longer than usual. My honey walnut shrimp was very good. My husband ordered to egg rolls and got one. Very disappointed. I used to really like Happy Dragon.

It's basically an unbranded Panda Express, but fresher food, less busy, and better customer service. It makes the air smell AMAZING outside. Two super combos were the perfect amount for our family of four, two adults, two younger kids. They made our honey walnut shrimp fresh, then when they forgot to bring it to us they upgraded it from a small to a medium and apologized profusely. Such nice employees. They have the good round bamboo chopsticks. It was all delicious, but the BBQ pork was SUBLIME. Definitely coming back here. Beats Panda Express hands down and I love to support small businesses. They just appreciate you so much more. I just wish it had the room to be a nice sit down restaurant, but they're definitely more of the fast food vibe.

Tried this place 3 times over 5 years. Worst “Chinese” I’ve ever had. Wish so much it was at least average since I live close. But to me it was way below even average. I see other reviewers like it. I do not see how they can. Not even fresh or average. Big thumbs down.

So nice to have a local alternative option for lunch. Quick service and the store was clean. However I was shocked to see most entrees appear to be sweating under the heat lamp. The shrimp appeared to be just off the grill however the meat was rubbery. I loved the drink selection try the blood orange drink.

Not great, not awful. Closest chinese restaurant to my house. Sweet and sour chicken is good fresh. Egg drop soup was decent. Been here 2x. More convenience over quality. Would be great if they upped the spices and made things more flavorful.
