About Happy China

Welcome to Happy China, a Chinese Restaurant located at 656 US-15, Bishopville, SC 29010, USA. As a local dining option in Bishopville, Happy China offers a range of Chinese cuisine to cater to the tastes of the community. Based on customer feedback, the restaurant is known for its quick service and appears to primarily serve customers through takeout orders, although dine-in options are available.

Customer reviews provide mixed perspectives on the food quality at Happy China. One reviewer shared their experience with specific dishes, noting that the "lemon pepper wings was ok . Not all that." This suggests that while some items may be satisfactory, they might not meet everyone's expectations. The same reviewer had a significantly negative experience with the "shrimp eggs," describing them as "nasty as hell." Furthermore, this customer indicated that the quality of the egg roll was a crucial factor in their overall assessment, stating, "if the egg roll is nasty I cant eat there." This review highlights potential inconsistencies in the quality of different menu items.

In contrast, another reviewer had a more positive opinion of the food, simply stating, "The food was good." This suggests that some customers find the culinary offerings at Happy China to be satisfactory. However, this reviewer also commented on the physical condition of the building, noting that "The building is something to be desired." Despite this, they also mentioned that the restaurant is "clean" and that the "service is quick." This indicates that while the aesthetics of the building might not be the restaurant's strongest point, they maintain cleanliness and prioritize efficient service.

The observation that "Their business is mostly take-out" suggests that Happy China is a convenient option for locals looking to enjoy Chinese food at home. The fact that the reviewer noted, "We were the only ones eating in," further supports the idea that takeout is the primary mode of service for this establishment. This focus on takeout could mean that the dine-in environment might be less of a priority in terms of ambiance or decor.

Based on the limited information available, it is difficult to provide a detailed description of the environment at Happy China. One reviewer's comment about the building being "something to be desired" implies that the physical appearance might be outdated or less appealing. However, the reassurance that the restaurant is "clean" is a positive aspect to consider. Potential dine-in customers should be aware that the atmosphere might be basic or functional, primarily catering to those waiting for their takeout orders.

The service at Happy China is described as "quick," which is a significant advantage for customers who value efficiency, especially those opting for takeout during busy times. The friendly and efficient handling of orders can contribute positively to the overall customer experience, even if the primary focus is on takeout service. The availability of dine-in service, even if less frequently utilized, provides an option for those who prefer to eat their meal at the restaurant.

Features of Happy China, based on the reviews, include a menu with items like lemon pepper wings, shrimp eggs, and egg rolls, in addition to other standard Chinese dishes that are not specifically mentioned. The quick service is a notable feature, catering to customers who need to pick up their food promptly. The primary business model seems to be geared towards takeout, offering convenience for those wanting to enjoy their meals off-site. The cleanliness of the establishment, despite the building's condition, is another feature worth noting.

Her chicken is like no other. I definitely give meme as I call her credit. Your chicken will be good as hot coming out the grease. Oh by the way she has this fish, called swai. It is one of the best tasting fish I had in a long time. My favorite order is ham fried rice regular chicken wings or sometimes honey mustard flavor wings. I sometimes get the fish and fries or the chicken and fries meal. I really enjoyed this place. We talk as if we know each other and that's a good thing. It is good to establish and build relationships with people and that is what we have did. I go there on a regular basis. Not because of the food but because we have a genuine friendship. The food is good. My regular spot and it's affordable.

We have eaten there before so my wife figured to give them a try. She brought $50 WORTH of food and brought it home and began dispersing the food. I happily began to eat when I put my folk to my mouth and smelled what had to be old, rancid roast pork. When I brought the food back to them they tried to NOT give me my money back. I had them smell it and when I advised that I would take to food to DHEC, they FINALLY gave me my money back. Never again.
