Weekday lunch is the best time to explore this menu. Easy seating, fast service, hot, fresh food with seating inside and now outside. The restaurant is intimate and inside Mekong Plaza, offering homemade noodles and bao. Their bao is light with good quality filling. I love the sesame crusted crunchy bottom as a contrast to the soft steamed upper bao. These are smaller than the more well-known bao. They take 20 minutes to make and are well worth the wait. It arrives hot and yum. 3 different sauces to try are on the table. You will be provided a little sauce dish. I liked the XLB it seemed to have more body. The dipping sauce was more on the sweet tangy side. My vegetable bao had a lovely contrast of textures. Finely chopped cabbage, carrots, mushroom, and vermicelli. Maybe other vegetables? Side profile photo after my bite. Delicious. I didn't finish it all as I wanted my Tea Snow Smashed Avocado smoothie next door. It's a royal treat being in this Asian area after grocery shopping at HMart. Who knows when I'll be back this way. I recommend this lovely happy restaurant. They have grown, and I love that they invest in their business. New menus with photos, more tables outside, and enhanced decorative interior.

It's in a mallish location, so keep in mind it's a very small space and loud. The staff was nice. I went because I saw a video review on Instagram. I got exactly what they ordered from the video, and its not what I expected. There is definitely better out there. Will I go again, no. Again, if this is your first time, just go for the experience, and the food isn't bad. I think the food didn't have enough flavor.

First time here was such a great experience for date night. We order the spicy beef ramen, original beef ramen, spicy chili wontons, braised pork ribs, chow fun beef noodles, beef stew and more. Everything we have eaten here has been so enjoyable. It is definitely a home cook meal. It is a pleasure eating here. The atmosphere is definitely what the name speaks. Happy Bao. All the servers and owners are very kind and helpful. Will recommend to family and friends.
