Both waitresses were very rude. The picture of the stir fired vegetables is completely different from what they gave me (different vege ingredients), the waitress asserted to me that they've 'always' been like this without being apologetic at all or saying sorry once. The meat dish was half cold when they served it, the candle didn't help. Fried Taro is double sweetness of a funnel cake, way below my expectation. Such a shame that this restaurant had some good reputation.

WARNING: Found a caterpillar in delivery I had just returned to Boston, battling severe jet lag after nearly a day and night without sleep. In hopes of finding comfort, I ordered from a restaurant I knew and trusted. Imagine the surprise when I discovered the caterpillar hidden among the spinach, soaked in the soup. Thank you, Haoshiguang, for providing such a shock that I will likely stay awake for another night. While the general standard of restaurants in Boston can be fairly mediocre, this restaurant has consistently done a decent job with its quality offerings. I was shocked and disappointed by my most recent order: a caterpillar in seafood bisque was certainly unexpected. Despite my previous experiences, encountering such a lapse in hygiene has made me reconsider my choices. The restaurant must address this issue to maintain trust and ensure it doesn't happen again.

The BBQ skewers here are extremely delicious. They had a very nostalgic taste that reminded me of ones my dad would make back in the day when we went out for a picnic. My favorite was the diced beef tenderloin in black pepper sauce. It had a nicely balanced sweet and savory flavor which is always a chef's kiss for me. Both of the meat dishes were cooked to perfection —tender, juicy, and a flavor party for the mouth. The staff was on top of it and they also gave out some nice juicy complimentary watermelon slices, which were perfect for a hot summer day. I'm usually picky with Chinese restaurants, but this gem was a very pleasant stand out.

I was really looking forward to trying this place, but the service was super slow. It felt like all the staff were just focusing on takeout orders and totally ignoring people eating in the restaurant. My friend and I waited forever for our food. It honestly felt like we didn’t matter. Hope they figure out how to balance things better, because I’m not sure I’ll be back after this.

Very good and homey, if slightly "westernized" Chinese cuisine spot! Food: Tried a few different things - all very delicious, with incredibly fresh tastes. Nothing was too greasy, or too spicy either. It did feel a bit "cleaned up" when compared to some other spots in the area (such as Mountain House or Mala). We tried: - Six Kinds Of Food In Vinegar - really great , fresh taste of veggis in a wonderful vinegary sauce, don't get scared of the century old egg - Braised beef - that was a biggest winner for me, tasted better with each bite and the sauce was GREAT - Crayfish - that was a very wholesome dish Service: You order via app, so it's not a problem that some of the waiters do not speak English. They are also extremely nice and helpful! Ambiance: I found the bright inside and decor slightly character-less, however once again - it was very clean and well maintained. Overall: highly recommended for a quick night-out dinner!
