Hao Noodle Chelsea

Great restaurant. At first we were only looking for a place for noodle. It turned out we found this place with dating atmosphere. The plants are designed with eastern elements. The roof provides just enough lighting. Braised pork is tender as expected. Chicken noodle soup is delicious and I could see great ingredients. Even though I would prefer white pepper instead of black pepper because the latter is stronger. The stir fried cabbage is awesome. The crispness is perfect! Combined with the savory sauce It's just on point. Also the price is unbeatable. 75 for 3 dishes more than needed for 2 people.

There’s a complimentary snacks / refreshments station near the front which is super cute! We ordered the cilantro beef, the rice cake with shrimp and egg yolk, and the pea shoots. The rice cake is my #1 - it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the shrimp was so flavorful and juicy. Would totally recommend!

I’ve been hooked on Hao Noodle for over 6 years now—no joke, this place holds a special spot in my heart. Hands down, the BEST Chinese food in the city, and trust me, I’ve tried ’em all. Every single time I walk in, dishes are always fire, and you can taste the love they put into every bite. The service? Always on point. The staff treats you like family, and big ups to Andy (the GM legend) for keeping the vibes top-tier every time. You won’t go wrong with anything here but some of my favorites are the Cantonese roasted chicken in a clay pot, the beef cube with onion and walnut, the Kung pao chicken, sesame chili oil chicken, Dan Dan noodle and chickpeas noodle. I get them every time ;)

Lovely place to dine in, the food was good, they have their identity for the market, I do love their decorations and the standard of the presentation. I visit every time I come to nyc. Fully recommend

FOOD: Really delicious. Excellent noodles. Highly recommend the wood ear mushrooms as an app. The soup dumplings are also wonderful. Dandan noodles are great, just very heavy -- same with the beef hot pot. We were full after 8-10 bites but excited to eat it at home tomorrow. Also... Having a bite of the beef hot pot was surprisingly good with a little bit of the vinegar from the soup dumplings! SERVICE: Nice peeps. They were pretty busy on a Saturday night but were able to seat us 10 min ahead of our 8pm rez. It took a while for the server to take our order though. It also took us a while to get our check - ended up getting another server to bring it to us. He also packed up our to-go food very nicely. ATMOSPHERE: It's cute in here, but REALLY loud. Might enjoy it more for a lunch spot and not dinner date. It's just the nature of the back room - very echoey. Next time I will also ask to not be seated in the corner by the wine fridges. We had to move our table back a foot or two to not get bonked by the door, and I think our server kind of forgot about us being hidden away. Overall, definitely recommend. And will be back to try more dishes :)
