About Hao Hao Restaurant

Hao Hao Restaurant is a Chinese Restaurant located at 12320 Bellaire Blvd A-6 in Houston, Texas. They can be contacted at (281) 933-9464 or +1 281-933-9464.

Based on customer reviews, Hao Hao Restaurant might not impress with its exterior or interior ambiance. The restaurant and its strip mall are described as looking dated. The interior is also noted to have a simple, almost storage room-like atmosphere. However, despite its appearance, Hao Hao Restaurant is highly praised for the exceptional quality of its food.

A standout dish mentioned by reviewers is the banh bot chien, which is considered the best in Houston. Another notable feature is the restaurant's consistent pricing, with customers appreciating that prices haven't changed significantly over time. Additionally, the fried food and noodle dishes are commended for not being overly salty or containing excessive MSG.

While the focus at Hao Hao Restaurant is clearly on the food quality, customers advise being mindful of the surroundings in the area. Despite any concerns about the location's appearance, the exceptional food seems to be the primary draw, making Hao Hao Restaurant a place where the kitchen's skill is the main attraction.

For local Houston residents prioritizing delicious and affordable Chinese cuisine over aesthetics, Hao Hao Restaurant on Bellaire Blvd is a place to consider. Experience their highly-rated banh bot chien and other well-prepared dishes that have earned the loyalty of its customers.

The outside of the restaurant and the entire strip mall look like they’re past their prime by about 20 years. Stepping in, it looks like that on the inside too. The all redeeming quality is the kitchen which produces food that’s out of this world. Omg it’s so good! This place is like a video game character where the player put all skill points into the kitchen and none into appearance or ambiance. Granted, it’s what counts at the end of the day, but still the atmosphere is that of a melancholic storage room.

Best banh bot chien in Houston. One stand out thing about this restaurant is price hasn’t changed much. I noticed in the fried food & noodle dishes there’s not a heavy amount a salt, and or msg. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 just watch your surroundings in this area.

I haven't been here in a while. Food is still good. We ordered banh bot chien and we like that it comes with the pickled papaya... Yum! The mi xao don (crispy fried noodles) was pretty good. We liked the hu tieu ap chao (crispy pan fried flat noodles) too. Their hu tieu and egg noodle soups are always good. We didn't care too much for the muc rang muoi (salt and pepper squid). It was too crispy which made the squid a little too dry. Overall, it was a good lunch with the fam.

They had a great selection of dishes. I had spring rolls and grilled chicken with vermicelli. The grilled chicken was deliciously glazed and moist. The spring roll was good and their Vietnamese coffee was great. I want to try all their soups in the fall.

I was craving for com bo luc lac so I decided to give this place a try. If you're hungry this will definitely fill you up quick but I wouldnt say it was good. Just okay. I would suggest for them to give customer fresh salt and pepper with lime instead of these pre made sour sauces, they taste weird. The tomatoes that came with the order was soggy. I think fresh lettuce and cilantro for this dish would be better. The eggrolls was okay too. The guys that work here they seem friendly, enthusiastic and fast on their feet.
