Another customer reported a "very bad experience" during their first visit with two adults and two young children. This review highlighted issues with the service, including feeling rushed to order. The food quality was also criticized, with the beef noodle soup described as lacking flavor and having overly soft noodles, and a clay pot dish being only warm. Additionally, a fried chicken and rice dish was unexpectedly covered in sauce without this being mentioned on the menu, and a refund was refused. Customer Reviews
Interior was nice with two floors of seating and you can see the cooks making your meal. We had several dishes and were ok. Nothing special in our opinion. Service was subpar. We were not offered refreshments and while placing our order the waiter begins to walk away assuming we’re done ordering. Had to call him back to complete our order to which he replies “that’s a lot of food”. Won’t be back.
First time eating there with 2 adults and 2 young kids, we had very bad experience. The menu was big and looked attractive so I needed to take time checking it, but the lady asked to take menu back like every minute. My food came very fast but didn't taste good at all. The beef noodles soup had no flavor, barely tasted salty. The noodles were way to soft. The clay pot was warm, not HOT. We were not told that the fried chicken and rice was covered with sauce (not stated on menu neither), when I saw the food, before I even said anything, the lady right away told me that we cannot refund the dish... Last my bill was $47, I took a $50 bill from my husband. As I was trying to calculate how much with tips and looking for coins in my purse, the same lady kept asking questions like where we came from and what we wer doing in Rochester etc, then she picked up the $50 saying it was not enough tips ... Honestly I wanna give a zero star instead, will never go there again!
Food was good, I def want to try more. Chili oil and the squeeze bottle hot sauce really helped balance out the sweetness of the dishes. Pork belly buns were in point, nicely braised with a slight crisp to the pork belly. Duck noodle soup was decent. I would have liked more veggies in the veggies spring rolls. It was mostly iceberg lettuce and noodles, but the sauce was good. Will def come back and try some of their spicier dishes next time. Lots of things I want to order on the menu. The atmosphere gets a ding because the tables are just so close to each other. I know it's a small joint but it's still just a lil hard to have a conversation when it's packed.
I love Han Noodle Bar. Everytime I go I have no problem getting right to a table. The food comes out quick and it tastes amazing. We usually get an appetizer and mains for around $40.
I recently visited Han Noodle Bar, and I was beyond impressed with the food! The sesame chicken was absolutely delicious—perfectly crispy with a rich, flavorful sauce that had just the right amount of sweetness. The shrimp lo mein was amazing, with perfectly cooked noodles and tender shrimp in a savory, well-balanced sauce. The overall atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent. Every bite was a treat, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic, tasty Chinese food!
