About Han Dynasty

Han Dynasty is a Chinese restaurant located at 4356 Main St, Philadelphia, PA 19127, USA. They can be contacted at (215) 508-2066 or via their mobile number +1 215-508-2066.

As a Chinese restaurant in Philadelphia, Han Dynasty has garnered varied feedback from its patrons. One reviewer found their experience to be "good but not great," noting that the restaurant was not crowded during a weekday visit and the staff was "very nice." However, this customer mentioned that the service was "a little slow" despite the low number of diners. Among the dishes tried, the Dan Dan Noodles were highlighted as a favorite, while other items were considered "just okay in flavor/taste."

Another customer reported a "pretty good" first-time experience at Han Dynasty. They noted "fast friendly server/service" and believed the restaurant operates on a Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) policy. This reviewer highly recommended the dumplings, lo mein noodles, and scallion pancakes. They also enjoyed the dry pot but cautioned about the spice levels, mentioning that a level 5 was too spicy for someone who generally enjoys spicy food, and recommended sticking to levels 1-3. While the dry pot contained a significant amount of chili flakes, this was manageable for the reviewer. Their dining companion enjoyed the pumpkin pot. This customer expressed a definite intention to visit Han Dynasty again.

Based on these reviews, Han Dynasty appears to offer a range of popular dishes, including the Dan Dan Noodles, dumplings, lo mein, scallion pancakes, and dry pot. The service is generally considered friendly, though it might be slow at times. The restaurant may also be a BYOB establishment. For local users interested in exploring their menu, especially their highly-rated items, and those who prefer to bring their own beverages, Han Dynasty could be a worthwhile option. When ordering spicy dishes like the dry pot, it's advisable to consider starting with a lower spice level.

Han Dynasty was good but not great. I went during the week and it was not crowded. The staff was very nice. However, service was a little slow - considering the number of customers there. I ordered a few things to try on the menu. My favorite was the Dan Dan noddles! Everything else was just okay in flavor/taste.

We’ve only been once but our experience was pretty good. Fast friendly server/service. I believe they are byob. Dumplings were very good. I particularly loved the lo mein noodles and scallion pancakes. The dry pot i ordered was delicious. The only thing is i ordered it too spicy. They go by spice levels. As someone who can generally eat spicy food a 5 was too hot for me. I’ll stick to 1-3 from now on. It also had a lot of chili flakes understandably since i ordered a 5 but too many chilis or flakes drives me crazy. It was no big deal just picked them out. My friend ordered the pumpkin pot and she enjoyed it. I would definitely check them out again.

Phenomenal! I love Szechuan food and went to quite a few restaurants. I must say Han Dynasty was Phenomenal. We ordered Dan Dan Noodle and Dry Pot Style beef. Every was better than my expectation. I could tolerate more spice and other than that I'm quite satisfied with the visit. I highly recommend this place to my friends. This time around the food was not the same. Everything everything was over cooked. It was very disappointing. We brought special guest to show them the same great experienced we has last time and it was simply disappointing. It can’t be the same cook this time.

I’ve never had to raise my hand like a kid in class just to get a fork or any sort of decent service. Food was good but not once, but twice my Husband’s food was sent back for being so ungodly spicy, it literally took his breath away. Servers sit at the front table on their cell phones not paying attention to their customers. We won’t be coming back. Thank you for the free chopsticks though for the inconvenience.
