About Halal Hunan Village

Halal Hunan Village, located at 5900 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA 22041, USA, is a Chinese restaurant offering a unique and expansive halal buffet experience. They can be contacted at (703) 575-9000 or +1 703-575-9000.

This restaurant stands out for its exceptionally large buffet, featuring a wide variety of dishes that span multiple cuisines, including Chinese, Indian, Pakistani, and even Middle Eastern options. This diverse selection allows diners to explore flavors from different continents under one roof, catering to various palates.

A notable feature is the impressive array of appetizers, which have been described as great and flavorful, with options like samosas, pakoras, and spring rolls. The main course selection is also extensive, including popular dishes such as fried rice, noodles, fried shrimp, Mongolian beef, chicken biryani, butter chicken, Haleem, beef and goat paya, and halwa puri. While most items are reported to be fresh and flavorful, some dishes, like the butter chicken and biryani, received mixed reviews.

The buffet also includes a salad bar, pani puri (which was well-received), and a variety of desserts, ensuring something for everyone. They even offer kid-friendly options like pasta and pizza, though one review noted the pasta lacked seasoning.

The restaurant provides a significant advantage for halal diners, offering a comfortable and inclusive environment where all items are halal. Additionally, prayer areas are available for patrons.

The ambiance of Halal Hunan Village is described as good and well-lit, although some reviews mention that table cleanliness could be improved. It is also noted that the restaurant can get crowded, especially during peak hours, potentially leading to a chaotic environment in the food area and longer wait times. Visiting during off-peak hours is recommended for a more relaxed experience.

The weekend buffet price was mentioned as being around $25, which some found slightly overpriced. However, considering the wide variety of options available, it is generally seen as a reasonable value.

Currently, no specific promotional information was found in the provided reviews. However, Halal Hunan Village offers a unique feature of a large, multi-cuisine halal buffet, making it a noteworthy option for local users seeking such variety in Falls Church.

we went on Saturday. The place is huge and it is the biggest buffet I have ever seen. wide variety of food, Chinese Indian Pakistani, and even Middle Eastern. I was surprised you can spend all time tasting the appetizers only great appetizers for their own they can make a buffet the food quality is OK giving the wide variety of items there. The tea is delicious. I enjoyed it however, I wish they will make the Nan bread fresh and increase the air inside because when it got crowded, it was it was so hot. As a Halal place I eat all the items and I'm feeling comfortable. There are places for prayer too. Of course, a great value for the price.

A good place for anyone looking for a halal buffet with a variety of options available. The spread of the buffet is great with food from different continents under one roof. Asian, India, Pakistani, Mediterranean options for different palates. The selection of the appetizers was great with some good samosas, different kind of pakoras, spring roll, fries, etc. Everything was fresh, hot and flavorful. There were a variety of main course items on the menu including fried rice, noodles, fried shrimp, Mongolian beef, chicken biryani, butter chicken, Haleem, beef and goat paya, and halwa puri to name a few. Everything was fresh and flavorful except the butter chicken which did not live up to the standards. Biryani was ok but not to die for. The salad bar, pani puri (which was great by the way), the desserts, had something for everyone. For the kids, they also had an option for pasta and pizza. I did not try, but according to my son who loves pasta, it had no salt and was not that great. Overall we were impressed the menu items on the menu and the quality and taste for the most part. There were a few hit or miss items but then there were other options that were great. The place looked good, looked clean and well lit but the tables could have been cleaner for sure. Some of the chairs and tables seemed a little dirty and sticky. We were lucky to have gone at an odd time and were able to look around and find a better table for ourselves. $25 for a weekend buffet seemed a little bit over priced, but that’s the time we are living in. Going on an odd time (4:30pm) probably worked in our favor. As more people started coming in, plus with a party arrival in their party hall, it started becoming a little chaotic in the food area. I can only imagine when the place is at its full capacity, it would really be hard to get in line for the food. In the end, not a bad place to go for halal buffet with some decent food. Advice, pick an odd time and not a rush hour. I would rate it 3.5/5 for cleanliness.

I guess this is the only restaurant in the vicinity of D.C. where one can find the wide range of the buffet of Chinese, Pakistani, Arabic, and Indian food together. Excellent taste. Excellent service. Very reasonable prices. Big verity of food. Peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended to the foodies.

Ordered via Grubhub. Got the Chicken and Black Beans, two egg rolls, and spicy French fries. Got here on time. The food didn't cost that much but the fees do pile on and push the price. But that's delivery for you.
