About Halal Fusion 2 Chelten avenue

Halal Fusion 2 Chelten Avenue is a restaurant located at 723 E Chelten Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19144, USA. They can be contacted at (267) 335-2161 or +1 267-335-2161. While the name suggests a fusion cuisine, it is listed under the platform category of Chinese Restaurant and also emphasizes Halal food options.

Recent customer reviews indicate significant concerns regarding the food quality and service consistency at Halal Fusion 2 Chelten Avenue.

One customer reported enjoying the shrimp fried rice initially but was disturbed by finding what appeared to be shrimp feces in their food. They also mentioned that other dishes were not to their liking and noted inconsistencies across three separate orders, as well as frequently missing egg rolls. This customer stated they would not be returning.

Another customer who ordered through DoorDash experienced a very late delivery, despite the platform indicating the order was ready. They also reported that their cold banana pudding was packaged between hot food items. The customer found the food to be excessively salty, rendering it inedible and causing them to feel physically sick. They further claimed that certain chicken options, other than regular wings, were extremely fatty and appeared to be processed, contradicting the restaurant's Halal claim. This reviewer expressed extreme dissatisfaction, did not receive a response to their complaint, and vowed never to order again. They only found the banana pudding to be edible.

Based on these recent customer reviews, local users should be aware of potential issues with food quality, consistency, delivery service, and possibly the accuracy of Halal claims when considering Halal Fusion 2 Chelten Avenue.

Whilst I did enjoy the shrimp fried rice, up until I seen the 💩in shrimp. Everything else wasn’t to my liking. I’ve tried 3 times and I just simply won’t be back. Too many inconsistencies with the same orders. And to add they always forget my eggrolls. May Allah make this establishment better.

Ordered through door dash my 1st time trying them was extremely late even though door dash said it was ready. They stuck my cold banana pudding between two platters of hot food.i literally couldn't finish the food because it was so over the top SALTY. Like everything I ordered was overly Salty not even edible it had that much salt . don't get any type of chicken besides regular wings every other chicken is EXTREMELY FATTY like it came out of a bag processed meat but they claim it is hallel that's is a LIE. I left him a message didn't even ask for my $75 back cause I ordered this nasty food and was still hungry because I couldn't eat it was physically getting sick from the level of salt.he never responded but I will never be back I don't even understand how they are open for business just sell banana pudding cause that was the only thing that was edible

First and foremost may Allah bless this business and its shareholders, Ameen. I came to this location a couple weeks ago only once and unfortunately I will not be going there again, I just prefer the other location for many reasons. The staff and the owner was very helpful and pleasant; the establishment is a buffet style restaurant so the food is always cooked based upon my observations. In my opinion, the food lacked the freshly cooked food I’ve had at the other location and I brought multiple items and I was disappointed. It wasn’t nasty, it just didn’t taste the same as the other location. I’ve heard the other restaurant on Germantown Avenue is also a “ buffet style location “ however I am going to try it again and see how it is before I stop dining there altogether. Overall, both locations are amazing! Very clean and everyone is welcoming and friendly. The PUDDING is on an entire scale of its own, delicious! I love mii some pudding and I am very funny about the way it is made and I was not disappointed whatsoever with the pudding. This food chain left its mark on the community and I pray that Allah continues to bless it, improve any flaws within it, and allow it to grow! Ameen Pros: • Great customer service and excellent energy from all staff, including the owner. • Clean, organized, and professional. • Bare minimum wait time. Cons: •Food quality wasn’t as high as I expected ( underwhelming ). I expected it to be more tasty and fresh. • Street parking wasn’t really accessible, street parking. •

First time trying this place is when I did doordash smelled so good I went back the same day. I ordered Fusion Wings, Shrimp Fried Rice , and Orange Chicken. Fusion Wings were too sweet for my liking but not intolerable 6/10. Shrimp fried rice was good but a little bland could use a little more seasoning 8/10. Orange chicken was mushy and at the same time some spots were hard 4/10. I decided to try them again but with different items. Halal Chicken Wings 9/10 they are rather little wings. Beef and Broccoli 2/10 beef was inedible tasted like rubber and the broccoli was mushy. Halal bourbon chicken was super thick cut and tasted of oil 3/10. Lo Mein a little dry had to add soy sauce 6/10. Fries are good nothing special 10/10. They will stuff your container which is a pro and a con because it will leak badly than on the other hand you have a lot of food lol. They’re also pretty affordable. A side and 3 entrees for $14 on doordash. Overall, it’s a nice establishment, good customer service. Either I been going at the wrong times or I just don’t have the taste buds for it. I’ll try again later in the future!

Honest review. Okay so I seen them in an ad on instagram . The picture they had was of the pepper steak over fries an employee made. But when I got my order it looked nothing the same lol. I did ask for it exactly how the one on IG was made. I’ll insert the instagram picture vs mine. My steak tasted weird idk, it was my first time trying Chinese food steak . Next, my bf order was just ok because it didn’t have enough sauce. He had shrimp and broccoli with shrimp fried rice. As you can see in the pic the shrimp was white . Idk what kind of shrimp they use, probably albino shrimps. Lastly, I ordered just 2 of the fusion wings which are very good! They gave me someone’s LARGE order of chicken( I feel bad, but we ate it). Next time I’ll just get fusion wings with green peppers and fries.
