About Halal Fresh Chinese and Indian cuisine
Welcome to Halal Fresh Chinese and Indian cuisine, a distinctive dining establishment located at 2241D Westchester Ave in the Bronx, New York. As a platform category Chinese Restaurant, Halal Fresh offers a unique culinary journey by seamlessly blending the vibrant and diverse flavors of both Chinese and Indian cuisines, all while adhering to Halal dietary standards. This makes it a noteworthy destination for local users seeking an exciting and inclusive dining experience that caters to a variety of tastes and dietary requirements.
Based on initial customer feedback, Halal Fresh Chinese and Indian cuisine has already begun to make a positive impression. One first-time visitor shared their experience of trying the veggie samosa and a dessert, both of which left a favorable mark. The dessert, priced affordably at $3.00 per piece, was described as a unique take on tres leches, characterized by a spongier texture and a less intense sweetness, ultimately deemed "really good." The veggie samosa, priced at $1.50 per piece, was lauded for its "very nice buttery flaky crust" and a "nicely seasoned" filling. This positive initial encounter suggests a promising start for the restaurant, particularly in its appetizer and dessert offerings.
Another customer review echoed the positive sentiment, highlighting "great customer service" as a significant strength of Halal Fresh. This aspect is crucial for building a loyal customer base and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Furthermore, the reviewer described the food as "honestly amazing" and reasonably priced, positioning it favorably against other dining options in the vicinity. The food was also noted for being "hot, tasty and fast," indicating efficiency in the kitchen and a commitment to serving fresh and satisfying meals promptly. These comments collectively paint a picture of a restaurant that values both the quality of its food and the satisfaction of its customers.
A minor point of feedback from one reviewer concerned the seating space, which they wished could be improved. However, they also acknowledged that the primary focus of the establishment appears to be takeout, making the limited seating more understandable. This suggests that while dine-in service is available to some extent, the restaurant likely caters significantly to customers who prefer to enjoy their meals at home or elsewhere. This focus on takeout could be a convenient feature for busy locals looking for a quick and delicious meal on the go.
The same reviewer also expressed a desire for more variety in the lunch special menu. This is valuable feedback for the restaurant to consider as it aims to attract and retain lunchtime customers. Expanding the options available for lunch specials could cater to a broader range of preferences and encourage repeat visits during the day.
Despite these minor suggestions for improvement, the overall impression from the available reviews is overwhelmingly positive. The combination of delicious and affordable food, coupled with excellent customer service, positions Halal Fresh Chinese and Indian cuisine as a potentially valuable addition to the local dining scene in the Bronx. The unique fusion of two popular culinary traditions, prepared according to Halal standards, further sets it apart and could attract a diverse clientele seeking both familiar and novel flavors.

Customer Reviews
First time. I just wanted to test it out. So I had a veggie samosa and a dessert. The dessert reminded me of a spongier, less sweet version of tres leches. It was really good and $3.00 for one piece. The samosa $1.50/piece had a very nice buttery flaky crust. The filling was nicely seasoned. I'll definitely be back to try some dishes.
Great customer service and the food is honestly amazing at a reasonable price, definitely better than what’s around the area. It was hot, tasty and fast. Only thing I wish was they improved the seating space more but most are takeouts so it’s understandable. Also wished the lunch special menu had more variety! But overall 10/10 🍲
I ordered the Lamb Tikka Masala on uber eats and let me tell you, it such a waste money becasue it was completely garbage. The meat was so hard it was like I was chewing on a tire. They barely cooked it at all. The sauce was the most disgusting part. WORST tikka masala Ive ever had in life. It was soo sweet it tasted like a dessert. I litterly took one bite out of the meat and had to spit it out after like a minute of chewing not being able to break of it apart. Will not order from here again.
This Indian restaurant the owner is disrespectful it was my go to but then I ordered their rice with full chicken and it was raw in the middle like blood raw then I went to the owner he told me that’s the style .and he was also super disrespectful cause I wanted to know what the things in the food were another time I came never again ima make sure nyc gets on this guys don’t go here unless you’re trying to get sick
Halal Fresh Chinese and Indian Cuisine impressed me with its innovative Indian and Chinese cuisine. I started with samosa as appetizer, for my main course, I ordered a goat kachi biryani, the samosa was perfectly fried and tasty, the biryani was rich and flavorful, and the spices were to the point. I ended my meal with a Indian sweet and a cup of lemon tea. The service was friendly and attentive, and our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, Halal Fresh Chinese and Indian Cuisine was a fantastic dining experience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a delicious and exciting meal.
