Haiku Asian Bistro Intro
Haiku Asian Bistro is located at 149 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains, NY 10601, USA. You can contact them at (914) 644-8887 or their mobile number +1 914-644-8887. While categorized as a Chinese Restaurant, customer reviews indicate that Haiku Asian Bistro offers a broader range of Asian cuisine, particularly highlighting their sushi.
Customers have praised the quality and freshness of the food, especially the sushi. Specific mentions include the "white tiger" roll and what is thought to be a "dynamite roll," both described as very good. The sautéed garlic spinach was also noted as surprisingly good, and the hot and sour soup received positive feedback. One reviewer highly recommends Haiku for sushi, describing the quality and freshness as "otherworldly" and specifically mentioning the "BlackForest Sushi."
The atmosphere received mixed reviews. One customer found it "just OK" due to their seating directly adjacent to a serving station, where staff were frequently present, potentially impacting the dining experience. Another reviewer suggested that the service and waiters could be "a-bit more warm and welcoming."
In summary, Haiku Asian Bistro in White Plains appears to be a place where the quality and freshness of the food, especially the sushi, are highly regarded. While the atmosphere may vary depending on seating and the service could be more engaging according to some, it is considered a great spot for evening sushi and other Asian dishes. If you are looking for fresh, high-quality sushi and are open to a potentially less-than-ideal seating arrangement, Haiku Asian Bistro could be a good option.

Very good white tiger and (I think) a dynamite roll, both very good. Also ordered surprisingly good sautéed garlic spinach. Oh, and the hot and sour soup was great. Atmosphere just OK most likely due to being seated directly adjacent to serving station where bus people and servers were pretty much on top of my seat, like inches away, texting, pulling out dishware, etc.
Hello everyone. I keep going to this place and I may say that if you really want a good sushi this is the place. Excellent quality freshness of the dish it is otherworldly. The service and the waiters need to bee a-bit more warm and welcoming. Overall great for evening Sushi. Especially for the ( BlackForest Sushi ).
It was a quick lunch pick up. So the review is not for dinning in! I think half of my shrimp tempura roll got stolen by alien, or my eye sight is catching up to me. Should have just go to a local takeout for lunch to go. Lesson learned. Food other wise was ok.
I would like to let it be known that I have frequented this place for takeout years ago but today I decided to dine in for my birthday when the restaurant was open for business at 11:30 a.m. The ambiance of the restaurant is quite serene with music playing in the background at a mellowed tone. It wasn't empty but it wasn't too busy. Our initial server, Jessie, was very much interactive and outgoing. She was very pleasant and welcoming to the 6-month-old that accompanied us on this day. They gave us time to settle so we did not feel rushed. We ordered two classic margaritas, which came about 5 minutes later, because we were told that this choice would be the best option on the menu, but it was your typical sour mix nothing authentic. So I decided to switch it out and with no problem from the server I ordered a coco mai. So happy I changed my order because this drink is absolutely delicious. I would definitely order that drink again. My appetizer was the pan fried pork dumpling. This was delicious also. I ordered sushi and a seaweed salad and the salmon to avocado ratio in the sushi was off but it was still edible. Other than that great place to dine in at. Great customer service. If you are a coconut lover like me, order the coco mai you won't be disappointed.
This is one of my Favorite spots to eat out. I’ve been here more than 30 times and the food quality is amazing, also the service. Fresh Sushi, great ambiance and mainly that is fast service. My favorite dish is the Black Pepper Steak Cubes!
