About Haii Keii

Haii Keii, located at 3300 Kirby Dr Suite 9-A in Houston, presents a distinctive dining experience that transcends the typical Chinese Restaurant category. This "hidden gem" boasts a very pretty, low-light, and romantic atmosphere, with décor and vibes that evoke a blend of Kill Bill and Blade Runner aesthetics, complete with subtle house music that allows for easy conversation.

It is advisable to make reservations as Haii Keii tends to get busy. Valet parking is available for a fee. The restaurant features tapas-style plates, meaning portions are smaller, so it's recommended to order accordingly. The drinks are not only visually appealing but also taste really good, with a drink menu that is notably eye-catching.

While the overall food quality is described as "cool" or "not amazing but not horrible," the crab rice stands out as a highly recommended dish. Praised for being well-seasoned and featuring a soft-shell crab in the middle, it's a must-try item. For those who enjoy sushi, the nigiri is reported to be solid, especially considering Haii Keii's upscale presentation.

The service is commendable, with attentive waiters who are happy to answer questions and provide recommendations for food and drinks. Dishes are brought out as they are ordered. A unique touch is the purse hanger provided at each table, which guests can take home. Haii Keii also offers a special touch for birthday celebrations, displaying "Happy Birthday" on the walls for the birthday person.

Keep in mind that the pricing reflects the unique environment, with a bill for two people potentially exceeding $400 with tip. Haii Keii is highly recommended for date nights or outings with a big group where the ambiance and overall experience are as important as the food itself.

My new favorite hidden gem. This place is very pretty it has a low light romantic type vibe .valet Parking was 10 dollars . Going In to the place was very pretty ,the lights gave kill bill retro type vibes. It's best to set reservations as the places tend to get busy. The plates are like tappas so don't expect to get full. The drinks were made pretty and tasted really good. I love how the drink menu looks, very eye catching. The food was cool, the best out the food was the crab rice. Don't sleep on the crab rice. It was so good, well seasoned with a soft shell crab in the middle. That was good AF. My waiter was really nice and answered any questions we had. The food also comes out as you order it . The tables included a purse hanger that you can take home. I went for a birthday and I love the fact that they will display happy birthday on the walls for the birthday person . This place is so beautiful I definitely recommend

Great atmosphere. The decor and vibe do feel like Kill Bill / Blade Runner. The music is house music, and it's not super loud, so you can have a conversation without yelling. I had made reservations and had no problem getting seated immediately. Our waiter made great recommendations for food and drinks and was very attentive. The food is not amazing but not horrible. The nigiri we got were solid for a high scale sushi restaurant. The issue I had was the prices, but I understand that I am paying for the environment. I would recommend going for date night or with a big group. The bill with tip was north of 400 dollars for 2 people.

I had the pleasure of dining at Haii Keii, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the elegant yet inviting atmosphere. These Sleek décor and background music created the perfect setting for a high-end dining experience. The food was nothing short of incredible. The sushi was some of the freshest I’ve ever had—the sake-toro melted in my mouth, and every roll was crafted with precision and balance. Beyond the food, the service was impeccable. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing, making sure every detail of my experience was perfect. I also appreciated their recommendations for sake pairings, which elevated the meal even further. I would highly recommend coming here for a girl's night or date night.

Our server Armono was amazing. Very attentive we never a a dirty plate on the table. He was great and everyone else around were amazing server. The food was very mediocre for an upscale spot. I order almost everything. The wine was probably the best thing I had and the dessert. I hope they improve from this. I really hope it survives. Everyone try it out for themselves.

Good location, valet parking available ($15) or you can try street parking. The atmosphere and decor are wonderful. The staff was attentive, our server was very good and made tons of recommendations. I loved the cocktail menu, as it has photos of each drink, and also has a selection of wines and beers. The food was excellent, we ordered Beef Tartare lobster dumplings (the best of the whole night, I could eat millions of these), spicy edamana (very good too) and the purple sweet potatoes (excellent flavor) We also ordered the steak fried rice, some sashimi (all incredibly fresh) and a deluxe salmon roll. The presentation of the food is very good!!
