About Hai Zhou Village

Welcome to Hai Zhou Village, a Chinese restaurant located at 13539 Clopper Rd, Germantown, MD 20874, USA. Operating within the Chinese Restaurant category, Hai Zhou Village primarily caters to customers seeking Chinese cuisine for carry-out. You can contact them at (301) 972-1108 or +1 301-972-1108 for inquiries or to place your order.

Based on the available customer reviews, Hai Zhou Village appears to be a local establishment with a focus on providing convenient Chinese carry-out options for the residents of Germantown, Maryland. One reviewer specifically recommended it for those "looking for a good Chinese carry out," suggesting that this is a primary service offered by the restaurant. The ease of parking was also highlighted as a positive aspect for customers picking up their orders, with the reviewer noting, "Parking is a breeze."

In terms of the food offered at Hai Zhou Village, the limited reviews provide specific mentions of a few dishes. One customer praised the freshness of the food, stating, "It’s hard finding a place where the food taste fresh." They specifically recommended the "orange chicken" and "honey sesame chicken," noting that these dishes "will not disappoint." This positive feedback suggests that Hai Zhou Village has the potential to deliver satisfying and flavorful versions of these popular American Chinese dishes.

However, it is important to consider all feedback to gain a comprehensive understanding of the customer experience. Another reviewer had a significantly negative experience with a specific dish, stating, "I ordered the hot and spicy garlic chicken, it was so blad, no spice at all, no salt, tastes horrible. This is the worst Garlic chicken I have ever ordered..." This strong criticism indicates a potential inconsistency in food quality or preparation, at least for this particular dish. The reviewer's disappointment was further compounded by their interaction with the staff when they called to address the issue, stating that "the lady tried to explain, nd did not even apologize and then she hang up. Never again." This account raises concerns about the restaurant's customer service and how they handle complaints.

The contrasting reviews present a somewhat mixed image of Hai Zhou Village. While one customer had a positive experience with the freshness and taste of certain dishes and appreciated the convenience of parking and the friendliness of the staff at the front counter ("the lady in the front is nice!"), another had a very negative experience with a different dish and the subsequent customer service interaction.

Given the limited information, details about the environment or ambiance of Hai Zhou Village are not available. However, the emphasis on carry-out suggests that the physical space might be primarily geared towards order pickup rather than an extensive dine-in area. The positive mention of easy parking supports the idea of a quick and convenient carry-out service.

Features of Hai Zhou Village, based on the reviews, seem to include a focus on fresh-tasting Chinese carry-out food, with the orange chicken and honey sesame chicken being potential highlights. The convenience of parking is also a noted feature for customers picking up orders. However, potential inconsistencies in food quality, as highlighted by the negative review of the garlic chicken, should be taken into consideration.

Promotional information is not provided in the given text. It is unknown if Hai Zhou Village offers any specials, discounts, or loyalty programs. Local users interested in such information would need to contact the restaurant directly.

For local users in Germantown, MD, who are looking for a Chinese carry-out option, Hai Zhou Village presents a choice with mixed reviews. The positive feedback regarding the freshness and taste of some dishes, along with the convenient parking and friendly service at the counter, might be appealing. However, the negative review highlighting a poorly prepared dish and unsatisfactory customer service is a significant factor to consider. Potential customers might want to weigh these contrasting experiences when making their decision.

To get more information about their menu, hours of operation, and any potential promotions, local users are encouraged to contact Hai Zhou Village directly at (301) 972-1108 or +1 301-972-1108. It might also be helpful to look for additional reviews on other online platforms to gain a broader perspective on the overall customer experience at this establishment.

In conclusion, Hai Zhou Village in Germantown, MD, is a Chinese restaurant primarily focused on carry-out service. While some customers have praised the freshness and taste of specific dishes like orange chicken and honey sesame chicken, others have reported significant issues with food quality and customer service. The convenience of parking and friendly service at the counter are noted positives. Local users should consider these mixed reviews and perhaps try a smaller order initially to gauge their own experience.

Ordered a wonton soup and chicken noodle soup via Uber Eats. Both were repulsive and threw them in the trash. Avoid this place like the plague!

Ordered: beef broccoli (4), combo fried rice (3), veggie lo mein (4), crab Rangoon (2), general tso chicken (2). Good quality, not greasy. Vegetables are fresh and meat seems to be good quality. The beef and broccoli was our favorite. The fried rice was bland. The general tso and crab Rangoon weren't super crispy. General tso could also use more flavor and spice. Overall, I would order here again. Definitely better than other local options we've tried!

This place is absolutely disgusting. Their fried rice is literally white rice stir fried with iceberg lettuce! The photos on the menu do not match the item. I hope I don’t get food poisoning. It was that disgusting.
