About L & P

Located at 115 9000 S in Sandy, Utah, L & P is an establishment that offers what some customers describe as authentic Asian cuisine. While it may be listed under the platform category of Chinese Restaurants, their menu appears to encompass a broader range of Asian flavors. They can be contacted at (801) 255-9958 or +1 801-255-9958.

Customer reviews provide varied perspectives on L & P. One reviewer, who identifies as an American critiquing authentic Asian food, shared a mixed experience. They tried the beef stew noodle, a barbecue pork steam bun, and a coconut custard sponge cake. While they finished the sponge cakes and found them enjoyable, they were unable to finish the steam bun due to the taste and described the dough as mushy. They also found the smell of the beef stew noodle slightly off and the taste undesirable, ultimately deciding not to return.

Conversely, another customer expressed positive feedback, particularly highlighting the Taro boba tea as a favorite, especially on hot summer days. They also recommended the sponge cake (enjoyed with tea), noodle soup, and beef muscle & green bean dishes as being good. This suggests that L & P offers certain dishes that are well-received by some customers.

In summary, L & P in Sandy offers a menu that aims for authentic Asian flavors, which may be appreciated by those familiar with the cuisine. While some dishes, like the sponge cake and Taro boba tea, receive positive mentions, other items, such as the barbecue pork steam bun and beef stew noodle, may not appeal to all palates. Potential customers might want to consider the specific dishes they are interested in trying based on these varying experiences.

I have been wanting to go here for a long time. This is by far the most authentic Asian food I have ordered. Not knowing what to get, I asked another patron what was good. I understand this is an American critiquing authentic Asian food, so take it for what it is worth. I ordered the beef stew noodle, a barbecue pork steam bun, and a coconut custard sponge cake. I tried the steam bun first and was not able to finish because of the taste. The dough was mushy, and the taste of the pork was not very good to me. I moved on to the stew and added the noodles and cabbage to it. The smell was a little off, but I tried it anyway once again, the taste is not at all desirable to me. I did finish the spongecakes though, so I had sponge cake for lunch. I understand there are people that would enjoy this, but I will definitely not be going back.

On a hot summer day, their Taro boba tea is one of my favorite things to have. Their sponge cake (like to have it with tea), noodle soup, beef muscle & green bean dishes are good too.

This is a review for the deli that is near the entrance of Ocean Mart that is apparently known as the L&P Food Court. They ask for tips for simply loading a to-go container which obviously wasn't happening. I was looking for a good cheap dinner and the only options that were available at the deli were a tofu dish or a chicken with mushrooms dish. Both were $7 for a small or $13 for a large. I went with the chicken and it was terrible. A chicken was put into in industrial strength slicer with little pieces that contained little bones. That made it very difficult to eat. In addition, it was very oily with a mediocre spice flavor. A Trader Joes frozen entree at half the price would have been a much better dinner.

Not much choice for Asian food in Utah. Excellent tea selections. If you want to make authentic ramen this place has it all. Some fresh "Utah fresh" seafood, lots of meats and bones for superb brotha.

I had an exceptionally disappointing experience with their service. The staff consistently exhibited a grumpy demeanor, demonstrated a lack of patience, and the delivery process was painfully slow. Furthermore, they openly mocked non-native speakers' English proficiency and even resorted to using offensive language, including profanity, when interacting with customers. To compound matters, the food itself was not appetizing either. My review is ZERO for this place.
