About ASIAN TASTE

ASIAN TASTE is a Chinese restaurant located at 9901 77th St Unit 840, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158, USA. They can be contacted at (262) 697-5666 or +1 262-697-5666.

According to recent customer reviews, ASIAN TASTE is a family-owned establishment known for its "wonderful food" and "amazing service." One reviewer highlighted the friendly nature of the owners, the consistently amazing food quality, and the reasonable prices for large quantities. They also noted the wide variety of traditional meals available for both dine-in and carry-out options. Parking is mentioned as potentially limited due to the presence of other businesses nearby, but handicap parking is available.

In a more critical review dated February 14, 2025, a customer expressed concerns about a staff member at the front, describing them as "annoying and shady." This reviewer alleges that the staff member consistently tries to upsell the most expensive dishes and may attempt to ring up dinner prices for lunch combo orders. They advise customers to pay close attention to their bill and recount instances of what they perceived as inappropriate remarks. This customer, despite the restaurant's convenience, decided to go elsewhere due to these negative experiences.

It appears that ASIAN TASTE offers a diverse menu of traditional Chinese meals and has received praise for its food quality and the friendliness of the family owners. However, potential customers should be aware of the negative feedback regarding one specific staff member's interaction with customers.

Update: They removed the partition (due to covid). Same wonderful food and amazing service. Best Chinese Food!!! Family owned and they are so friendly. The food is always amazing and reasonable priced for large quantities. Lots of variety of traditional meals. Dine in or carry out with no problem. Parking is limited with so many other businesses right next door. Handicap parking available.

Listen to other reviews. The guy is really annoying and shady. He always tries to sell the most expensive dish. If you want the lunch combo, he will try to ring up the dinner that's way more $. Pay attention, because he hopes no one notices. He usually has some smart azz thing to say too. Other commenters aren't kidding. Not sure why they have him working the front, it's comically bad. I came on to look at the reviews, just to see if any others noticed the same and oh yeah, they did. It's so convenient for my work, but after last time I was there I decided I would rather go out of my way. 2/14/25

We’ve been going here for years. HOWEVER the owner is as rude as all get out. He’s ALWAYS rude on the phone and not much better in person with the exception of tonight. My husband ran in to grab our order and the man wanted to be rude because he asked for an extra piece of plastic ware. “ONE CoMBO ONE PIECE” he snapped at my husband. Are you freakin kidding me?!?!?! Then my husband said he forgot to sign his credit card receipt and the man snapped at him and said “HERE SIGN IT!” as he threw it across the counter!!!! I’m sorry-the food is mediocre at best but the location was convenient. We won’t give that ass 1 more penny! We’ll go to Chen’s Bistro where the food and service are SO much better!!!!

I pulled a soda out of the refrigerator after picking my lunch special. The owner stated that the pop would be .50 cents. I told him I'd right back, I was going to run out to my car to grab cash. When I came back with a dollar bill. He took my dollar and didn't give me back any change. I asked him for my change and he said the pop is a dollar. Okay, let's say I misheard him. The sign on the wall menu has a price of .75 cents with the lunch special. It's not about the money, it's about the principle; moreover it about the attitude I received when I asked for my change. Sorry, but won't be going there again.

The pork lo mein was average and a bit overpriced. I’d consider getting it again if the price was cut in half. Better off going to Panda Express.
